SPOILERS FOR BANANA FISH VOLUME 19 IN WHITE TEXT.
Finally managed to scrounge enough money together to get my Evangelion Kaworu x Shinji (it's so cute, I don't know where I'm going to put it though) - and my Manga.
They'd sold Full Metal Alchemist 6 & 7 that morning (seriously irritating), so I got my Banana Fish 19, and Saiyuki Reload 7 (although I can't read it yet because I need 5 & 6).
Banana Fish ... god, I was desperately hoping for a happy ending. That's not what I got. Although, in a way it was. Ash died in peace because for the first time he knew what it really felt like to be loved; and in the end Sing and Akira helped Eiji let go of his pain and grieve - allowing him to display his feelings for Ash and live with them, instead of letting the hidden pain drive him.
It was nice to see Eiji's hair long, and Sing looked nice - I half suspected those two would end up together since they share a home most of the time, and perhaps they may have done after the series ended - although I still thing Sing is better with Yut Lung.
The side story was cool - it was nice to see Shorter again, and watch how he and Ash became friends - jacking over an angel card, had me grinning.
All in all, as a series goes - it's one of the rare few that has me reading it again and again, because it's that good. ^_^
I still can't settle on an appearance for my Koji, and the Marketplace stuff just isn't selling - but I don't want to lower the prices; if they don't sell I'll just keep them and try to earn the gold the old fashioned way!
