This is the tale, of the young Gaian above. She is dead now, but her story lives on, forever. Her name was Elizabeth. Elizabeth belonged to a very wealthy family. The girl could have anything she wanted. She was just eighteen when she fell in love. But the man she loved refused to have anything to do with her. So Elizabeth sat up in her room for three days, weeping over a love that would never be. It had gotten so bad that her father and mother threatened the boy that if he didn't marry the girl, his family would "disappear" off the face of the Earth.
The boy agreed to protect his family. So on the morning of the fourth day, the boy entered into Elizabeth's room. "Fair maiden," he called. Despite the tears that streaked her face, and her haired that was a fuss, she was fair. "I ask you to be my wife." She looked at him and wiped away the tears.
The girl smiled and accepted. So three weeks later, Elizabeth was dressed in a most beautiful gown, all glowing and white. Her dark hair had been held in curlers all the night, so her hair fell in waves. She was immaculate. But something we wrong. The bridegroom did not come. Elizabeth's parents set out for guards and soldiers and the like out to find him, but he was never found. At the end of the day, Elizabeth hadn't cried once, but stood fast at the altar.
"Come, Elizabeth, come away from there!" her mother called. But Elizabeth did not. She instead turned to her mother and declared, "No, Mother! He shall come!"
The boy, it was found, had died. Elizabeth stayed at the altar until her death, which wasn't long afterwards.
