Let's see.. What could I talk about now? I guess I'll talk about something sad that happened last New Year's eve. Well, the pastor of my church, his wife, and his three sons were going to Prescott (a city in AZ) one Saturday morning, when a guy driving under the influence of meth was swerving out of control and running other cars off the road. The pastor's van was clipped by this man's vehicle and veered into an oncoming semi. It ended up being a five car pile-up with 4 casualties.... My pastor, his son the intern pastor (who loved Final Fantasy by the way), and his other son (who was my brother's best friend) passed away that morning, leaving the rest of his family, his church, and friends to grieve... Well, since his second to youngest son was my brother's best friend, he was also my friend too. We all played Super Smash Brothers Melee and Metroid Prime 2 multiplayer together. We miss him dearly crying . One weird thing about this, though, was the other casualty in the accident was a guy from my youth group. I don't think I ever met him, but a lot of his friends still go there, and were really sad. He was in a different car when this happened and it was a total coincidence that he was involved. Well, I tell you, a lot of good HAS come from this, though. So many people are coming to our church now and many are coming to Christ almost every week since the accident, including the family of the man who caused the accident. Everyone heard about this because it was the biggest church in my town, and it made them think about "getting right" with God because there might not be a tomorrow.
Sorry about this religiousy post, but I just had to get that off my chest... I promise, the next one will be happier. smile
