The first born, my heart will call Truly A God-like boy of the sky The fog hissed away like a movie And serpents go home for the night The thundercloud rain hits the freeway The clowns put on makeup for show The nightfall, my skin crawl kind of evening And how the wind she blows How the wind she blows
I want you to come closer Come in closer. Come in closer. I want you to come in closer Come in closer. Come in closer. I want you to come in closer, in closer
Come dancing with devils Need not to know their names We'll waltz like an army For the fear of our pain Our souls become useless As the day they were born In a rusted arm rocking chair Away from your storm
But still, the truth remains lethal A lie made by man Where my shoes become hammers And my words become sand Like a sour patch, a wedding batch Of roses you threw across my floor In the rusted arm rocking chair Away from your storm
And they did come, they came in the dead of night just like cowards. Just like that, every single one of them were taken. The soldiers, hiding their faces with old fashioned gas masks skulked around like rats and forced them all towards their new fate as prisoners. In the end, when all of the girls stood in a group tired, confused, and now owning nothing more than their bedclothes the older girls protected the smaller using themselves as human shield. None of them were even close to ready to fight back yet each one so much braver than the men barking out orders and telling them the resistance was now dead. The plan of the nephets was indeed working and Ana could do nothing more than watch this unfurl helplessly. Just who was it that was controlling the nephets themselves? She had suspected there was someonething more behind it, something ever darker but it wasnt something that could yet be identified. She watched as if in slow motion her head beginning to throb itself into another headache. She remembered what the elder had told her and tried not to make a sound as she crabwalked towards the building. They were leaving and probably wouldnt see her. Maybe a few of the girls were left. . . hiding somewhere. If she could only find them maybe she could figure out what the hell to do next. Since she had become their leader in a way she had been making a hell of a lot of mistakes. Why they believed in her escaped all logic but this could be her only shot to find Daniel, her son. Despite her screw ups she would not allow herself the luxury of giving up. She couldnt afford it. Midstep she freezed, a Nephet had caught sight of her and was on its way over. Her heart felt as if it wanted to escape the icy covered confines of her chest. Wide dialated eyes forced themselves not to so much as blink. One breath taken could be all that stood between her freedom and herself. "I refuse you death. . . not here"
