My friend is working on a site bsed ENTIRELY in PHP, and I'm the lead artist of the admin team. Though, I'm only the second and newest user, it still means alot to me. To be one of the leaders of a site is something entirely kick a**.
The site's name is not to be revealed yet. But, I can show what I've made for the site so far. It's not much, since I've not been given many ideas, nor have I made the base avatars yet. Yes, the site will be using humanoid avatars.
A few FAQs of the site;
Q: Will the site allow any crossdressing?
A: Both the lead admin and I don't like the idea, but I'm trying to convince him to let me draw ALL items from the start to be unisex. I believe in equality.
Q: What type of site will it be?
A: A forum that's based off of RPG Palace, but with an avatar system similar to Gaia. My friend is an accomplice of RPG Palace's main admin, and he's helping my friend make the site.
Q: Why are you the artist admin? your art sucks!
A: Because my art sucks so bad, it kicks your a**. Now STFU.
Q: you suck!
A: Well, I may suck, but you're the one who can't ask a simple question XD.
Q: What is it that made you want to be the art admin?
A: My friend brought up the site, and I offered to help, since it'd give me a reason to make some pixel art. It'd also help out with how I'll be working in real life, since I'll have deadlines. Although, I won't be getting a paycheck for working. It's more like charity work.
Q: What kind of items will we get to begin with?
A: Well, I plan to get a simple set of country clothes for all beginners, such as a dirty white T-shirt, ripped jeans, and some dirty leather shoes. Also, I will definately be doing some donation item ideas, and the first one will be as successful as the Angelic Halo, but it'd be worth it. I just hope my friend lets me do it XD. One last thing, the first store item will be something that's expected from me, with my strange fascination with objects that don't work anymore. I'm trying my hardest to get my friend to let me make a broken robot as a pet for starters, with no real value. It'll be something tough, yet cute and weak. Sturdy, but falling apart in many ways. Oh, and I'm gonna also follow in L0cke's footseps and give each item a perverse message XD.
Q: Why bother making items if your friend won't put them up?
A: I suggested a raffle event where I choose a random user, and give them a unique item. I'll do it once every week too, with the item ending up as 4 of a kind. Of course, they'll be tradeable, if my friend can make a trade system XD.
Q: Will it be mainly anime related?
A: The items will have a resemblance to anime stuff, but I don't even know the main theme. My friend is still unsure XD.
Q: Did you make all of these Q's up until now?
A: Yes. Yes I did.
Q: What kind of monsters will be in the site? Any pets?
A: Pets will be in, but not exactly interactive. They'll be armor giving items. They have health, so they weaken after too many uses. Some monsters will be in classes, like Fantasy (dragons, unicorns, low taxes, etc.), Hybrid (Multiple animals fused), and Geoform (Creatures that are as dangerous as Sephiroth). One pet, which is the first, will be a Geolarvae. Geolarvae are harmless floating lizards with many umbiblical cords hanging down. It's horrifying to think of, but it will be drawn to look cute, despite the description.
Q: What is the site name?
A: I can't reveal it yet. It's confidential for some reason. when the construction page is up for it, I will reveal the name. The page might be up in January or Early Feb.
