Requests?
Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone wanted a story with a certain something that they had in mind. I am always open for request so feel free to comment or Pm me! An i suppose you want a story right now so i'll see what i can do for you.

Aiden looked at the plain gold band on his finger. It had lost its luster over the years but it never looked so good to him. It hadn't come off his finger since May 5th, 1995, his wedding day. The memories flashed through his mind bringing a smile to his bleak face. He opened the box that he had in his pocket since that morning. It was black velvet and trimmed in rose gold. Inside lay the most valuable treasure he would ever come across: The wedding and engagement rings of his wife, Laura.

You might ask what they are doing in a box when they should be on her left hand ring finder, six feet under the ground under the head stone reading Laura Walker. She had made sure that her engagement ring would go to their son when he chose to propose to whom ever he see fit. And the wedding ring stayed with Aiden because it was the only thing that brought joy to his heart. He remembered how she had loved it so much the day they saw it in the window of Lennons Jewelers. It was perfect for her. It was Rose gold, her favorite, with small white diamonds all around the band. Everytime he held it, he was reminded of her perfect smile...her perfect laugh... her perfect life. That is up until the accident.

It was their 5 year wedding anniversary and a millenium celebration all in one. Their twin, 2 year old children were at their grandmothers house for a long weekend and Aiden and Laura were in Cancun. They took a day cruise Friday the 5th. It was a small windjammer cruise, just them and a few other couples. Laura sat on the edge of the boat during a calm spot on the ocean. Aiden took a picture with camera Mom and Dad had given them for an anniversary present. His mother didnt believe in Digital cameras. He captured the moment forever. The last time he saw her alive. It was the last picture on that role of film. Aiden turned around looking for the camera bag holding extra film so that he could take more snap shots of his wife in all her glory. But when he turned back around quickly, taking a picture of surprise, he snapped a picture of the side of the boat. By the time the 1st mate had gotten a hold of her some thirty feet from the boat, she had already inhaled 3 ounces of water into her lungs. He never got to say goodbye.

That last picture of her stood framed on the dresser in their childrens rooms. A tear swelled in his eye as he closed the box and placed it back in the drawer of his nightstand.

"Happy Anniversary, Laura," he wispered as his twin son and daughter stepped off the bus infront of their house, Cinco De Mayo crafts in hand.
