Everyday Life
This has got to be the most insignificant topic anyone has ever written about. Or maybe there's many different interpretations about the term 'everyday life'. I think I might have several meanings for it myself.
Who doesn't enjoy everyday life? It doesn't have to be our own, certainly. We read romance novels, thrillers, newspapers...so maybe that's not everyday life. But that can happen to us, right? We watch movies, listen to the radio...these are all part of people's lives.
But what's sad is that we actually have to do this to enjoy life. I know I definitely read books that seem to follow the average person's life, and write things like that as well. I even join roleplays about...lifestyles. Yes, lifestyle. But I know I'm not the only one who does something else and lives something different to have a second life. Isn't this entire site dedicated to our second life?
And even worse, we try to manipulate people into the perfect life. Doesn't every parent tell their kid to do this or not to do that? As a teenager, I think it's because they want their kid to live the life they've never had. But what if we don't want to? At the same time, we still want to live our own lives our way, as well as a different one.
However, I'm not criticizing you for any of this, because I do it too. I'd be a hypocrite. It's just a casual...observation about human nature, and may not make any sense at all.
