So, it's my husband's 21st birthday this Saturday. We're having a party, and immediatly afterwards, we're leaving on a two week vacation. Considering that I haven't had a two week vacation in over three years, I'm mighty excited about it all.
However, I'm also a little apprehensive. My house needs to be spotless, both for the party, and for the subsequent vacation, as we're having friends watch our three cats, and water our plants.
I also need to make a birthday cake. Now, the process of baking is not difficult. I've baked tons of cakes. This is, however, the first cake I'm decorating, with no help from older female relatives. I can already see the frosting gun going everywhere but where I want it to. So...wish me luck! I'll post pictures of the finished product.
I also have to pack for a two week vacation, which includes camping gear for three days, and clubbing outfits for Las Vegas. So, I'm a bit busy.
