Hello all. I'm Arancia.
About life:
In real life, I'm male. I had a female avatar until this easter for no real reason. Kind of miss it already. Oh well. Anyway, things that I enjoy doing are going on Gaia, doing miscellanious things on Gaia such as chatting in forums or making profiles, dancing, drawing, reading manga, watching anime, and some other stuff. I'm fourteen years old, my birthday's on the twenty eighth of April, so it wasn't too long ago. I played the clarinet in fifth and sixth grade, then a little into the year of seventh grade, but then I changed over to bassoon with four others, turning into just one other and I by the end of the year. Now I have fun being the only bassoon player in the eighth grade at my school. ^_^; I'm not doing band in ninth grade though, so they will be, sadly, bassoonless next year. Boo hoo. I also like video games, RPG and stuff. Basically anything if it has a plot that appeals to me. Or maybe not even a plot. No specific taste really. I'm like that with books too. One game that I particularly enjoy is Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I'm a big fan of that game, as you might tell from by profile layout at the moment, which is based off the character Etna. I have the whole script of the game saved on my computer, somewhere. Things have been weird for me with this computer since I got it back a little earlier this year. See, I'm sucky with computers so I get lots of viruses. Heh heh.. Anyway, my computer turned into a pile of crap that couldn't go two seconds without spouting about errors that shouldn't matter at the time, so I got it wiped. Luckily, the person was cool enough to save everything in My Documents, so I still have all my important files. I just have to find them all again... Seeing as I haven't been on this computer for half a year or so since I got it back, it's kind of confusing. sweatdrop Anyway, like I said before, I like dancing. Not many guy dancers are there, huh? Well I am one! D: Goodness gracious. I've been in the Nutcracker with Pacific Northwest Ballet school two years in a row, and attended classes there for possibly four years, but then I realized that I didn't like that school much, so I went back to my regular dance studio that I've been going to since I started. I do tap and ballet, and for company routines such as opener and closer for the end of the year performances, jazz. I'm on the dance team at my studio, this is my second consecutive year that I have. My friends always yell at me for doing it and then never having time to go out and do movies and crap with them, but I really like going to competitions and stuff, so I don't care as much. When they keep doing it, then I care. Music is a great thing. I love music. No particular music, just as long as it's not rap and country. ^_^ Those two types bug the hell out of me. I'm not saying they're all bad, I'm sure there could be some out there that I might like, but I'm not a fan of the genre's as a whole. So having no real preference, I just usually find a song I like and play it over and over and over until I'm sick of it, want to listen to something else, or I find a better song. It may be a stupid thing to do, but that's my way. I like foreign songs, deal with it. People may ask why I listen to them, and I can't really answer. Maybe they're brainwashing me? xD Either way I like them. Role playing is always something fun to do. I'll do, and have, either gender. I prefer multi person role plays over onexone which I usually do with my friend Jen if I do them at all. Plots are always good too. I'd like to find a good mystery or horror rp, but I lose my patience/sanity whenever I go to the Barton Town forum. That or I find a nice one that's "Advanced Literate" which makes little sense to me. I'm guessing that's where you make three paragraphs describing lots of mindless crap. I don't feel like turning into a describing slave. Anime and manga that I like are stuff like Death Note, Azumanga Daioh, YOTSUBA&, Fullmetal Alchemist, and... A lot of others. Building up my collection.

Enough about the un-pixilized me, now for me in Gaia.
Gaia History:
Back in May of last year, I originally logged in as Etna77. Then I decided to make another account, Etna_Lover, and finally made this account the following day with the username Songstress-yuna37. To the left is my first avatar. I know, I had no taste back then. xD My first bar that I went to was the Black Hole Bar. Made two days after this account. I came the day it opened, during the n00b slaying of the day, and got off to a bit of a shaky start with one of the owners, Black Lily. Eventually I got a job, and as time went on, I eventually became Co-owner. :3 I've been there the longest besides Larn and Lileh. The bar's still alive and thriving. Next I met one of my best Gaia friends, Sparkling Rain. I met her right when she joined Gaia. I remember in her introduction thread she yelled at me for some reason. xD Not sure why... Ah, the things you remember. Well, we hit it off and did so much stuff together. Joint lottos/quests/av contests, we did it all. Not all of it finished, but we had a fun time. Recently, Rain left Gaia for personal reasons, which makes me sad. She left Chocolate Latte, a real life friend of hers in her place. She still comes back every once in a while, and is planning on coming back for BHB's first birthday. Another of my really good friends that I met after a while was Kuri_Haruka. Her name now's Aya Chiharu, but I'm always gonna remember her as Kuri. :3 I met her when surfing around commerce one night and settling into the Ultra Lush bar. After a while, I made friends with her. We're real great friends now, and I'm happy that I know her. She's so cool, you should know her too. D:< (Not that all my friends aren't..) Anyway, I went through the songstress-yuna37 stage quickly. I bought my first quest completely, a cosplay avatar of Songstress yuna from FFX-2 (See right). Then I changed my hair for the first time. Gasp. I got brown sleek, because I thought it looked like Lenne from FFX-2. People (Namely Chelsey, a real life friend) yelled at me for looking like her and not Yuna. xD Then I changed my hair to red sleek, and went on a red quest. Red being my favorite color at the time, it made sense. Then went the blurry stage. I remember that I went on a "color quest." I quested for four items out of... Nine or twelve colors. I think it was nine. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, white, black, brown. I don't think I did purple. o_o; Then from that time on, I frequently changed my hair. From sleek, to something else, to anything else... Over and over. I'd change like once per week. Which might not be odd for an ATer, but for me it is. I'm not much of an ATer. Although now it's not odd, it's odd that I'm not. xD On Saturday Aug 20, 2005 I changed my name from songstress-yuna37 to Arancia. Right before then, Kuri and I made the .Hack//GAIA bar in Gaia commerce. It's still going, but basically dead. u_u Me, Kuri, Joanna and Wolf are about the only ones who come. The rping was so great when we had people though, I miss it. ): We eventually made a joint guild, .Hack//GAIA, same name as the bar. It's off and on, ya know? I don't think anyone's posted in a month though, which is kinda sad... Then my friend Soonee and I made a guild for Ed x Win pairing from Fullmetal Alchemist. ^_^ Soonee gave over ownership to Takumi Winry recently I believe, but we're still mods there. The next thing that I can remember happening was the halloween event! My very first event on Gaia. A good one, if you can't tell. I annoyed the hell out of me though. All of the weekend I kept switching over, "I don't need to be a zombie," and "I wanna be a zombie so bad! >_<" That argument in myself eventually settled when, wouldn't you know it, I actually made it. I'm still kinda surprised now that I think of it. I basically just stopped afterwards. Events were fun though, I met someone really cool. ^_^ I haven't talked with her in a while, maybe I should pm her soon. A bit later I believe the new profile system came out. At first, when I saw the custom section, I thought, "Man, I'll never learn those codes!" But now I've made like, over ten profiles (Which I'm sure Jen would say suck. ^_^). I'm proud of myself. =P Then nothing of notable importance happened that I can think of at the moment, until mid-December when I was computerless until the new year. Luckily, my friend Jen was nice enought to give me all the even items I missed. Another twenty or so hairstyles later, we got to Easter. I was posting in the GCD very often since a bit before I lost my internet access in December and was making avatar edits. I'm starting to sell edits and profiles for 4k a profile, and... 2k an edit I suppose. 1k if it's already been made. What happened on easter though, was I changed my avi's sex. So now I'm the correct gender with this account, and I did the change on a memorable date. :3 That's about everything up to date. My gaiaversary's in a week or two. Exciting, huh? ^_^ I'll update this later.
