A happy picture. Unfortunately, my friend, people will never see eye to eye. This can be traced back to religious differences. There are far too many. That is bound to create an uproar, and many will not live side by side in harmony with people who do not share their ideals. It'll be hard to work with someone who doesn't believe in the same things. You could say that people can change their thinking, yet that has not happened yet, not anywhere. Hitler didn't simply drop his beliefs for the sake of mankind. In fact, he thought he was helping mankind by doing horrible things. It's all in people perceptions, and perceptions have, and always will be, specific to the individuals to see them.
Furthermore, an army if needed. We need a military to defend ourselves. We wouldn't have survived this long without them, and it is a huge moral boost to our country just having it. AND, I'm not sure you or I have any proof that the government is withholding things from us. If they were withholding things from us, we wouldn't know they were withholding things from us. I don't necessarily agree that we should colonize other worlds. It's a little hard to, of course, with our government shutting NASA down. I think instead we should follow China, and have a limit on the amount of children one family can have. That will basically solve, or at least slow the population problem until a more permanent solution is found. The debt issue is very near and dear to my heart, as it should be for all Americans. Because it'll be us, and our kids paying it, not our parents or grandparents. I don't know about you, I don't know you very well, but I do know that you think a lot about things, which is good, I like you, but I myself am a Democrat, or at least more left-leaning. I believe that we should increase taxes, and gradually pay off the debt. Taxes sound scary, they really do to a lot of people, especially since our generation has been raised to believe that taxes are bad and the government is responsible for our pain, and really it's true. Neither you or I are the reason that the debt stands at almost 14 Trillion dollars, but I do believe that it's up to people like you and I to fix that. And that can't be done with cutting spending alone. We need to tax more. Not a lot more, but enough to make a dent in the debt.

Oh I wish that living in harmony could be easy. I wish that people could live side by side with no issues whatsoever. I wish racial boundaries didn't exist, that it was okay to be whatever you are, but in truth, society doesn't fully see it that way. Society is beginning to see things better, but we are not completely there yet, maybe not even past the half-way marker. I myself have grown up in a family where black people are considered bad. In NO way do I think that, everyone is equal in my mind. That's just the family I grew up in. It's a sad, perverse world we live in, and nothing is simply solved regardless of how smart you and I are to the ways of how things could and should be.

Alright for one, I have had this desicousion so many time, Beingh smart isn't something like we know, Smarts are different from knolege, as in you may know more then me and I can still be smarter then you. And I can know more then you but you be smarter then me. Now for the taxes, I don't think we should have to pay for our dept, since it was bush who ******** us up excuse my languge. And I grew up a family with all kinds of people, african americans, native amercians, jews, so on and so forth. (I'm more irsh then anything though) And the military, I'm ok with, I'm planning on jopin the military. I know we can't all work together but we should. It would bring life to so much better places. I say we don't follow China because if we have a limit then thats so many lifes not being made. I'd reither be on a different planet with 4 kids then on earth with only 2 for a limit. I don't give a s**t on weither your muslim or jewish or any religion or the color of your skin again excuse my languge. I just don't understand why we all have to fight non stop. I mean come on, if we work together then we will have such an easyer life. We can dicover more and more and new things can be made and life will be amazing! But we need to work together to make that happen. See, I'm an atheist, so I don't belive in a god. I belive that we need to stand untied and not apart. Then maybe, just maybe will life be easyer, The military is a usful thing but I'm not tralk about againest our selfs, like I know there is other life out there, I mean come on, there so much space we haven't seen before, and there is bound to be a being out there that is much stronger then us and more power, thats why I'm ok with the military. I know it sounds silly and idotic but if you think about it, you'll undertand.

Whoa, whoa, nobody is talking about anybody's intelligences being more, or less than anyone elses. I know that because you're thinking about these things that you ARE indeed smart, a type of smart that not many people are these days.
I do agree it's stupid that WE should have to pay for the debt, when we weren't making the choices to put ourselves in debt, and the country could be in better hands - however, if we don't pay it, then we could lose every single freedom that makes this country great, and bad, at the same time. China could take claim on the trillions we owe them. If they do that, because we fail to pay the debt, they might invade, or, they may try to repossess what they lent us. Well, because we don't have any of the money they actually lent us, they would probably take land. What happens if they take some piece of America? What if China decides to take your state because we refuse to pay taxes, which ultimately would (although slightly) trickle into the debt?
Okay, I get what your saying about the limit on children. If we put a limit, then maybe some great leader will never be born. Or something like that, it does make sense. So I totally follow you there.
I see what your saying, you don't believe in a God, so everyone should not too, and all work together to make life easier. I kinda follow you, and I wish it was that simple, but ultimately people aren't worried about this life, or making THIS life easier. They're more concerned about what's going to happen after they die, which is what leads them to believe in a God, to hope for something after they pass on. That's one of the main purposes of religion. To give hope for after death. As long as people fear death, there will most likely be no universal religion, or a huge amount of people dropping their religions. America is mainly Christian. But you can see the fear in them, can't you? Have you ever attended Church? Or a Funeral? You can smell the fear of death. That's why it's hard to forget religion and look past it.
Like.. life outside of our solar system? Like.. sort of aliens-ish? I can kind of agree with that. There is a lot that we don't know. And rather than worry about that people worry about physical goods or they worry about their insignificant yet at the same time significant lives.
It's a tough world.

No, China can't ivade for a couple of reasons, 1. this is our land and we will fight to the death for it. 2. We have things worse then the atomic bomb, and I'm not talking about the nuke, there are things the military have that can problubly top the nuke. besides we are larger then China, they wouldn't dare try anything, not to mention the fact that the democrats are actully turnning down cures for disese, like we have a cure for cancer and the common cold, I know this really cool guy who has a friend in a sicence department who made a cure for these diseses, he offered it to the goverment and they turned him down because they want money in the pockets and they want to tell us how to live, they want to control us. There curopt.

We can't stop them. How can we stop them from taking what basically belongs to them if we fail to pay our debt? People don't tell the Repo Man, "Uh, no, this is mine, I don't care if I failed to pay for it. Go away or I'll kill you." That's not how the world works, and definitely not how the governent works.
Nukes wouldn't even be an option because we swore to never use them again, and if we do it's violating over a thousand peace treaties and agreements we've entered, basically plunging us into World War III. And neither you or I can claim the government has something more powerful than the nuke because that kind of information is either non-existent or super hush-hush.
I wouldn't necessarily say we're larger than China.
I'm a firm believer in the fact that government works for the people, not against it. Regardless of what you say, or I say, it's all about perspective. I highly doubt there has been a cure for cancer; a legit cure. Chemo is the only known thing to help the rapid creation of cells known as cancer. I don't know where you're getting your information, but it sounds very shady. I do not believe that the government is corrupt. I refuse to. I think if people had more faith in our government, we could really turn this country around. The faithlessness in the government is not without cause, of course. The government has made mistakes. People make mistakes. They do learn from them, though. I just wish people weren't so anti-government. They do the things they do for a reason. They don't just do it to ******** with us.

Treaties are just paper. You can belive what you want but theres a cure to cancer, and the goverment didn't take it because the damocrats want money in there own pockets. I hate the gorvernment. I always will. They tell us how to live, see if they didn't put our money in there pockets then even poor people would be rich, less crime, the goverment wants this s**t because they get money out of it. You belive what you want but when the government kills everyone, I'll be laughing. Laughing at we dug our own grave.
