My GOD I thought this game would never get here. I had pre-ordered it 3 weeks ago but knew about it at the end of the first one. But finally getting everything I had payed for was a pain in the glutious maximus. I had first went up to my Gamestop with intentions of just getting the game, but with my simple mind the manager convinced me to get the Limited Edition Stratagy Guide that was sappose to come with a sound track that was for the game (which is so friggin huge, but more on that later.) So I had gave her $40 and said "pay off the guide and with whatever is left put it on the game".
In the following days I had came in and was putting 20 bucks here, 10 bucks there, and so one and so one untill I was done. Well yesterday came and I was way past stoked to finally get the ONE GAME TO RULE THEM ALL <.< >.>. So I go in and ask for me booty and she gets them both and plops them on the counter and proceeds to tell me that I owe 5.99, which is the tax for the guide. Now, did I or did I not tell her to pay off the guide?
So I leave, game in hand but no stratagy guide and I am stressed but not super scream evil . But its not until I leave my friends house after playing this awsome game then the rage hits me. I'm walking home ranting and arguing to myself (this goes on for bout 20 min which is how long it takes to get from his house to my house) and I had swore up and down that I would never pre-order anything after Disgaea 2 ever again. Now the f'ed up part is I had pre-ordered Neopets: Darkest Faerie a while back and there was no problem at all. WTF???
Now there is a silver lining to this story of heartache. I had told a friend of mine this same thing and she was flabbergasted at the events that took place but asked me is I had wanted to head up to McCraples with her and I said yes. To make a long story short, she ended up paying the remaining 5.89 (somehow I had 2 cents leftover from the game) and now I have the complete package.... sorta. There was no sound track in the guide, which she said there was which is why I had pre-order the guide in the first place, so I felt a little mad but not enough to warent mass destruction. But I guess to remedy the lack of sound track
The moral of this story, MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE BOOB THAT YOU ARE PLAYING FOR THE WHOLE THING, INCLUDING TAX!!!!!!!!!
