ambrosial am-BROH-zhuhl, adjective:
1. Exceptionally pleasing to taste or smell; especially delicious or fragrant.
2. Worthy of the gods; divine.
But if something is slightly bruised, speckled or dinged on the outside, we don't usually take the time to wonder if it might be ambrosial within.

Ambrosial comes from the Greek ambrosios, "of the Gods." Ambrosia refers to the food or drink consumed by the Greek pantheon.
