So I read this article about two people who were killed by a drunk driver. The one guy who does was abused his whole life, noone accepted him because he was gay.
He was tortured mercilessly by two people he thought were his friends. He put his trust in them and they stabbed him in the back,
How could you DO that to someone?
Why does this touch me soo deeply? The two who betrayed him even apologized at his funeral, why? why wait until he was dead to be a man and own up to being a douche? Just because someone is gay does not make them less than a human. Being gay, you deserve just as much respect as any fellow human being.
I sincerely hope him and his sister are in a better place right now, it really is pulling at me but what can I do? I can't make people accept people like us. . . .but it sure would be nice if we all could see each other as one race, the human race.
Even if it is idealistic.
