I"m back from camp hope! It was so so so fun! The point of it was to help out families by fixing up their house free of charge! It was a long drive up there; 3 hours. And we were all staying at Frostburg State University and out church stayed on the second floor with a whole wing to outselves. Most people had one roomate [mine was carson] except for one room of three and the adults had a room of their own.
We had four spirtual consulers who were basically in charge of everything. All of them were so funny. Amy and Erin were the two girl consulers, and were very pretty. The guy ones were named Tyler and Kenny. They were

Tyler could play guitar really well and Kenny was nice and funnay. The two of them were quite a pair. Like during breakfast and dinner, they would come up to you with one on either side. Literally one inch from your face. I think someone has a picture of them doing that to Victoria L.
So the way it went during the day was that Meghan would bang loudly on our door at 6:15 and wouldn't stop until someone answered the door. Then we got ready to go down for morning devotions at 7:00.
After that we went to a church to eat breakfast. And it was different every day. Real good. Then it was off to our jobsite. On our workteam, there was:
Mr. Baldwin
My mom
Me
Carson
Josh
Taylor
Kristin
And Jamison
We had to fix a hole in the ceiling [so bad you could see into the floor above] and take off a wall, plaster it, paint it, paint three ther rooms, and take out and rebuild a bathroom. It was a lot of work.
But halfway through the week, Kim and Dave's team came in. I love them. They're nice. Dave knows how to make you laugh. Once, Dave made Jessica laugh so hard, coffee came out her nose. Lawl. But the homeowners were really nice...
AND THEY HAD PUPPIES!!
2 of 'em. Both eight weeks.
And we all looked like poop the whole week. We felt like it too. Haha.
So when we left the worksite around 3-4, we got to the dorm and took showers, then went to dinner.
When we got back there was some evening activity. But the one that I remember the most was the night we played volleyball. I didn't play....but....-giggles- here's what happened....
The night we went to Wal-Mart no one knew Jimmy and Josh bought pink and blue booty shorts, and short leggings. They cut the shorts vertically and sewed together one pink and one blue. They put on the leggings and shorts with their t-shirts, walked out in the middle of the game, and everything just stopped. One kid got hit in the head because he was distracted. They even stuck balled up tube socks in thier crotch area. Oh and one of the days in the jobsite, carson and I had to take off a bunch of painters tape. Since I was her tape girl she covered every bit of fabric on me with tape. It was crazy. Then 3 people helped take it off of me. We then had this big wad of tape. So then Ido 'N'tknow...oh....you don't know him. Well he is a talking hand on carson, and his frist name is Ido. Last name? 'N'tknow. He's from narnia and talks to Kenny a lot. So we wrote a note from Ido to Kenny and it says...
Dearest Kenneth,
I have graced you with a Narnia tradition, of the passing of the tape. I hope you will respect and admire my culture and continue this tradition. Sincerely, with love,
Ido 'N'tknow.
Lawl.
But there was a lot of drama. It started with Taylor telling Jess and Katilyn that he liked both of them. He almost ruined their friendship. And Erica telling Meghan that Jen was texting on the jobsite when she wasn't; just checking her messages to help out a suicidal friend. Meghan made a big deal out of it. But friday night communion night. It ended with the time of sharing. Which meant that everyone just stood up one at a time and shared their favorite memories from the week. Josh was first, and shared how he liked building a robot out of an old trash can [xD] and everyone else shared also. I was crying like nobodies business...It was sad but happy because I learned and realized a lot. These homeowners are going through harder times then us, and don't complain. Its selfish of us to pity ourselves.
But all in all, I can't wait to go back next year.

Now a days, Soda becomes vodka.
Kisses turn into sex.
Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground?
When protection meant wearing a helmet?
The only drug you knew was cough medicine?
And we couldn't wait to grow up.
