Chapter 6
The First Team Mission: Meeting Syama
A week past, Moriah sat underneath her tree, in the park. She had her eyes closed, and was listening to the birds sing in the distance. Voices herd in the back ground, heading off toward the Hokage’s office. Moriah’s stomach was getting bigger for the child that she was carrying. Moriah leaned her head back, ageist the tree to hear what the voices were saying.
“We have to tell her everything that we learned from our mission.” A girl’s voice spoke out.
“I know but how are we going to explain that one of the Uchiha’s is part of the Akatsuki.” Moriah opened her eyes, even though she’s been here for only a month and 2 weeks, she herd rumors about them. They are a group of ninjas that abanded their village, and became rouged ninjas. Moriah has seen one of them before. But recall what he called himself.
Memories came back of that one day. A man, with a spit face of black and white, a plant grew from his shoulders. One day when Moriah was picking herbs, down by the foot of the mountain. That man came out of nowhere and was looking for something. Moriah hid out of sight and watched him. She knew she couldn’t take him, at that location, and knowing she was only 12 at the time. She hid and saw that he was looking for some one. His coat was pure black with blood red clouds on it. Moriah hid for a few hours then the mysterious man left, and left some thing behind. Moriah tried so hard to remember what it was, but couldn’t.
Moriah sat up and hugged her self. “What was their mission?” she got up, but the voice’s owners weren’t there. Moriah sighed and head for home. Kakashi stood at the door reading his make out paradise book 2. Moriah walked up to him with her head down still trying to think of what it was. Kakashi looked up from his book and saw her.
“Morning my love, how was relaxing with the birds go?” he asked, putting away his book. Moriah looked up to him, and smiled, beautifully. Her eye’s looked like glittering jades. Kakashi smiled back. “So are you feeling a little better?” he placed his hand on her stomach, like the child was going to do something. Moriah smiled.
“Yeah, I feeling a lot better.” Kakashi smiled and moved his hand away from her stomach and placed it on her cheek.
“Well, that’s good to hear.” He smirked….
"WHAT?! You mean to tell me a Hyuuga was part of the Akatsuki and an Uchiha is the real leader?!" Tsunade said as the team reported what they learned.
"Yes." Neji said.
"This is not good. Neji, Hinata, and Naruto. You're free to go home. The rest, I have a new mission for you." Tsunade said.
"WAIT A MINUTE TSUNADE-BAACHAN! I WANT TO GO ON THIS MISSION TOO!" Naruto shouted.
"I think my skills will be needed too." Neji said.
"M-mine too." Hinata said shyly.
"I agree with Neji and Hinata. We'll need them." Sasuke said.
"WHAT ABOUT ME, CHEETAH FACE!?" Naruto shouted again.
"Calling people names isn't going to help you get what you want." Sakura said. Sakura and Naruto glared at each other for a few minutes.
"Fine. Naruto's Rasengan could come in handy on a mission." Sasuke said through gritted teeth. The Hokage looked at a Hyuuga girl, which kind looked like Hinata.
"Alright. All of you can go. Syama is team leader." Tsunade said.
"Hai Hokage-sama." Syama said.
"This mission is this: go to the village hidden in the sand, Sunagakure, and ask the Kazekage, Sabaku No Gaara, about Akasuna no Sasori." Tsunade said.
“My, lady. Ummmm, should I be team leader for this mission? I’m more qualified.” Neji said out loud.
“No this is her time to shine, for it.” She glared at Neji for specking out of order.
“Yes, my lady.” He apologized. Naruto looked at Neji and then looked at Hokage.
“Wait! We never been there so how do we get there?!” Naruto shouted.
“Fine you want a map?!” Tsunade growled. Everyone had sweat running down their face. It looked like she was going to eat Naruto alive. She sighed and sat back in her seat.
“I know, I have something that is better then a map.” Tsunade nodded to Righto, who was in the corner of the room. Righto nodded and walked out the door.
“What’s, better then a map?” everyone thought at once. Everyone thought of the answer expect Naruto.
"To help on your mission, you have two guides." Tsunade said. The door opens and two silver haired shinobi enter the office. "Kakashi and Moriah with help you." Tsunade said.
"Yo." Kakashi said.
"Hi." Moriah says smiling.
"Guides?! We don't need guides!" Naruto said.
"I believe that is for Syama to decide because she is team leader." Neji said.
"I think we need them." Syama said quietly. She was not used to being team leader and her name meant quiet.
"You set out in one hour." Tsunade said.
"Hai Hokage-sama." All the shinobi say together. All of them left to pack up.
Kakashi just sits in a tree reading his make out paradise book.
"Kakashi sweetheart, you really should get ready." Moriah calls up to Kakashi after she's done packing.
"I don't need to pack hon." Kakashi says. Moriah looked down at the ground. Kakashi looked down at her. he knew something was on her mind. He jumped down from his perch. “Moriah, what’s wrong?” he asked worriedly. Moriah looked up to him.
“This is my first mission. I really don’t what to mess it up, for these children. I don’t want to be a burden to then. Especially, when they don’t know that I’m pregnant.” She looked back at the ground. “Even the lady doesn’t know. Only you know that I am.” Kakashi smiled.
“Don’t worry I wont let any thing happen to you. I’ll protect you, even if it cost me my life.” Kakashi said, to ease her worry. He hugged her and kissed her check.
Naruto was so excited he almost forgot to pack his ninja dehydrated food for the mission. Hinata and Neji pack practical for all the walking that will be done. The hour past and all the shinobi gathered at the gate. Kakashi was late as usual.
"He's late, again!" Naruto said madly.
"Naruto-kun, relax." Hinata said playing with her bangs. Naruto stared at her and felt the urge to hug her. Naruto brushed the blush that was forming on his cheeks because Kakashi showed up just then.
"You're late!" Naruto shouted that felt like he shook the earth.
"I had to help a lady with her groceries." Kakashi said, with a smile.
"LIES!" Naruto said his eye twitched from anger.
"Okay yeah." Kakashi sighed.
"Kakashi-kun." Moriah said in a warning voice.
"Heh heh." Kakashi said, anime sweat dropping. The team set out to the Village Hidden in the Sand.
As they walked, Naruto was walking along with Hinata, trying to make a conversation with her. Syama was a head with Neji, trying to scout the area with their Byakugan. Sasuke in the middle with Sakura clinging to him. But at the end were Moriah and Kakashi. Kakashi reading his book and Moriah looking around her surroundings. Blue bird sang as the past by. Moriah smiled, she loves birds. Kakashi moved his eye over to her, but moving his face away from the book.
He saw her smile and closed her eyes, and couldn’t help but to smile back. ‘The only thing that comforts her is listening to birds. But why birds?’ he asked him self. “Hey, Moriah?” He asked but still hid his face, by the book. Moriah opened her eyes and looked at him.
“Hmm?” ask asked back. Kakashi fully looked at her.
“How would you like a pet bird?” he asked, hoping that she would say yes. Moriah looked at him. But she didn’t answer. She looked back up to the sky.
“Much as love birds, I think that they shouldn’t be locked up in a cage.” Kakashi’s face grew in to a more…opps I did something wrong. “A cat or a dog, are more the house pets.” She said quietly. Kakashi looked to the ground, but kept walking. Things where quite after that.
Later at dust, Syama stopped and looked around. “We’ll rest here for the night.” She was growing tried from all the walking. Moriah nodded her head, and started setting up the tent for the girls. Sasuke and Naruto went to look for fire wood, with Sakura stalking Sasuke. Neji and Hinata started working to light a small fire. Kakashi climbed up and tree and started reading his book. Syama on the other hand never seen, Moriah before. So she went to greet her, and get aquatinted.
Syama reached for the tent, and helped her set it up. Moriah smiled, “Thank you.” Syama nodded her head, and smiled.
“So you’re a Joini, too? She asked. Moriah looked at her, and smiled.
“Why yes, I’m also a Joini like Kakashi. “She knowledged.
Later at dinner, every one gathered around the camp fire. “Who’s going to take the first watch?” Kakashi asked, while reading his book. Neji stood up from his seat. “I will. I’ll take the first watch.” Neji shouted. Every one looked up at him, like he was going to explode if he didn’t get his wish. Naruto looked back at his food, and started eating it again. Everyone stared eating once more. Neji sat back down.
“So if, Neji’s going to take the first watch then whose going 2nd?” Sasuke asked.
Everyone stopped and looked at him. Moriah lifted her head and spoke.
“Ill go, I’ll take next the watch.” Moriah cheered. Kakashi glared at her.
“No! You can’t!” he shouted. Every one looked at him with wide eyes. Kakashi looked at everyone…”I’m mean, your body, needs to rest. You got to remember your condition.” Kakashi sighed. Moriah looked at him and her face grew to a more, miserable look.
“Alright I’ll wont, then.” Moriah finally agreed.
Every one finished their food, Kakashi, only ate half of his, and then handed the rest to Moriah. The girls, looked over her, and were thinking some was up with her. The way Kakashi has been treating her. The boys on the other hand just thought that he was being over protective, because this was her first time. Every one left to go to sleep, expect Neji. He sat by the fire, and watched the burning flower dance. Moriah got up, and walked to the girl’s tent to see if there are okay. But when she got there, the girls were sitting in a circle talking to one another. Moriah opened the tent, and the girls looked up to her.
“Are you girls, ok. I know we ran for a while, and you guys should rest. For our journey tomorrow.” Moriah warned. The girls looked at one another. When Moriah turned to leave, Sakura spoke out.
“Moriah?” Moriah turned to her, and stepped into the tent and closed the cloth door.
“Yes, Sakura?” she asked back, worried that she figured out her condition. Sakura looked to the ground then looked at Moriah in the eyes.
“Moriah…are you pregnant?” Sakura said out the blue. Moriah face grew to a shock mode, like she was busted. She looked to the ground then slowly sat down, and crossed her legs. The girls watched her like a hock. Moriah closed her eyes, and let out a long sigh.
“Yes, yes I am.” She looked up, at the girls. They looked like they died from oddly shock. Moriah looked at them, feeling like that they would tell on her. All the girls gathered around her.
“Really! You’re pregnant!” Sakura shouted. She got into Moriah’s face. And cheered, like there was no tomorrow. Hinata pulled her hands to her chest and clapped.
“Congratulations, lady Moriah.” She said shyly. Syama looked to the ground, and was thinking of something to say.
The girls looked at Syama, ready to listen to what she had to say. Then she looked up to Moriah, who felt like everyone, knows now.
“Do, you think it’s a boy or girl, my lady?” she asked. Moriah looked at her stomach, and pated it.
“I’m not sure. If it’s going to be a girl, Kakashi and I agreed to call her Azumi. But if it’s going to be a boy, then I want to name him, Kioshi….after my father.” Moriah said softly. The girls squealed like fan girls, at a convention.
“Girls! Girls, you can’t tell any one.” Moriah spoke out loud. The girls stopped, and looked at her.
“Why, not Moriah?” Sakura asked. She tilted her head, in confusion. Hinata looked at her and pulled her hands to her chin.
“Is it because, you don’t want the lady Hokage, to hold you back?” Hinata asked. Moriah nodded her head. Syama looked at Moriah.
“Does the father know.” She asked. Moriah nodded her head. And looked at her, her black hoodie was still on, and she looks so much like her cousin Hinata.
“Yes, the father is actually here with us.” Moriah whispered. Sakura looked at Moriah with her face all red from enjoyment.
“Kakashi sensei?” she asked the other girls looked at Moriah with shock.
Neji looked at the girl tent. “What are they blabbing about in there? If they keep squealing like that, then everyone will know where we are.” He spoke out loud. “Byakugan!” his eyes changed to the Byakugan state. He looked over the tent. The shadows of the girls that sat around Moriah’s shadow, but then he was something in Moriah’s shadow, not only her charka was yellow, instead of blue. There was a smaller shadow of a baby girl inside of Moriah. “What, this lady is.” Naruto walked out of the tent ready for his watch.
“Neji, what are those girls screaming about?” he asked rubbing his eye. Neji looked at him.
“Oh, it was just a spider, that crawled into their tent.” He lied. ‘He doesn’t know that Lady, Moriah is pregnant. Does he?’ Naruto sat beside him.
“So it was just a spider?” he sighed. “Stupid girls.” Neji shook his head, in shame. ‘Idiot.’ Then he walked to Kakashi’s tent. Then opened the cloth door.
“Sensei, Kakashi?” Kakashi rose up from a sleep mode, and looked at Neji. He was wearing a black shirt and white boxers.
“Yes, Neji what is it?” he asked, covering his left eye. Neji sat on his knees, and let go of the cloth door. When the door shut, Neji open his mouth and got ready to ask it. Kakashi looked over him, as Neji looked to the ground then looked up to him.
“I know that Moriah is pregnant.” He said. “Is that why you’re being so protective, over her?” Neji asked. Kakashi looked at him, and then looked to the ground. “Do you know who the father is-“Neji stopped and thought about it. “What! Your-“
“GRRRRAAAAHHHHH!!!” one of the girls screamed. Naruto jumped up from his spot by the fire, and looked around. There were 5 men, ripping out of the girl’s tent. Each men, had, one of the girls, tossed over there shoulder. Sasuke ran out of the tent, only with shorts, on. Kakashi and Neji ran out of the tent to see what was going on. Naruto pulled his hands closed together ready to the shadow clone. But the man that had Moriah threw her to the grown and pulled her up by her hair, to make her stand.
“Look buddy, this lady is not that corruptive. But if you let use leave, then she wouldn’t be harmed.” He spoke as he pulled a knife out of his, pocket. Kakashi ran by Naruto, as Neji used his Byakugan to see where they were heading.
Moriah looked at the knife, and thought of a plan. She looked at Kakashi and gave him, a look and he knew, was she was doing. “Don’t worry about me! I’ll be fine!” she cried. Kakashi nodded his head, and told the boys to back down. The man smiled and picked Moriah up, and threw her like a doll over his shoulder, and took off.
“Kakashi! Why do you stop me!?” Naruto yelled at him. Sasuke looked at the angry kitsue boy.
“Because you idiot, Moriah is not helpless. She had a plan.” Sasuke growled. Neji looked at him.
“He’s right Naruto. She gave us the look.” Neji agreed.
“What I didn’t see no look!” Naruto yelled again. Neji and Sasuke started arguing with Naruto, calling him hopeless, and an idiot. Kakashi looked to where the men headed off to.
“I hope your going to be okay.” Kakashi said silently.
Chapter 7
The Bandits
The men, dropped the girls one by one and tided, their hands behind their back. The girls grunted as they landed hardly on the dirt ground.
“You’ll never get away with this. Sasuke will stop you!” Sakura yell as the men turned around to face one another. One of the men looked at her, and squatted right in front of her.
“Oh, really? Then I must, up some fight for him.” He mocked. He burst out laughing and turned to find the other men. The girls looked at Moriah.
“My, lady? Do you have a plan?” Hinata asked. Moriah looked at them and nodded.
“Yes, I have a plan, to get you guys out of here. But this is my chance to show that I can fight back, as well.” Moriah spoke. She started telling them the plan.
Naruto, Kakashi, Neji and Sasuke started walking to where the men, headed off, to.
“If, I’m not to bold, but this was not part of the mission.” Neji said out loud. All the guys looked at him, with a small glare. Neji looked at them with an anime sweat drop. “But, yet again, they are need for our mission.”
“We, have to find the girls, before we can carry out our mission.” Kakashi warned. The boys nodded, in agreement.
Moriah looked at the girls. They nodded their heads, to knowledge the plan. Moriah lifted her head up, and began to whistle. Her whistle sound exactly like the blue birds that pasted by. The girls looked in amazement; they’ve never seen any one whistle exactly like the birds.
Two blue birds flew into the tree above Moriah. Then flew by her hands, and picked at the rope. As the rope loosen, Moriah pulled her hands apart and broke free. The birds then flew to the next person, as Moriah pulled out her kunai and got ready to set someone loose. When the girls were free, the gathered around each other, Hinata, used her Byakugan, along with her cousin Syama. Sakura pulled out some shrunken stars out. Moriah on the other hand, bit her thumb.
“Girls, get ready. This is why I love bird so much.” She shouted. She did some ninja hand signs, and then forced her hand to the ground. “Summoning Justu!” a cloud of smoke, rose from the ground.
The boys were coming close to the bandit’s hideout. The one of the bandits came out of hiding, the leader. “Boy, you guys are persistent, to find these girls aren’t you?” he laughed out loud.
“What have you done to them?!” Naruto yelled at him. The man smirked.
“Nothing why, you think I should?” the man mocked, evilly. Naruto growled, Sasuke gave the man an evil glare. Kakashi stared at the man, ready to tear him apart if he hurt Moriah. Neji used the Byakugan to see where the girls were. And what he saw surprised him.
The girls looked over to Moriah, to see what she summoned to the battle field. It was a giant yellow bird. (Looks like a cockatoo off of FFVII) Moriah told the girls to get on. As the girls rushed on, the big yellow bird looked at her.
“Take the girls to the campsite.” The bird nodded his head, and started running like an ostrich to the campsite. Moriah on the other hand started running to where the men said that they were heading to.
Naruto got ready to fight, and pulled his body to a fighting position. “Get ready…Because- I’m- Going- To- Kick- Your- Butt!” Naruto got ready to summon clones. But a womanly scream came from behind the leader bandit. The boys looked frighten.
“That sounded like Moriah!” Kakashi shouted. He charged at the man, hoping that he can get past him. But instead the bandit turned out to be a highly ranked ninja, as well.
“Ninja art, running rampage!” the bandit yelled.
The ground started to shake, like an earthquake. Kakashi lost his balance and fell to the ground. The boys moved around like jello, trying to stand upright. As they fell one by one to the ground, the bandit made another ninja sign. “Earth style: Earthly shackles!” the earth moved on its own, and grabbed a hold of everyone’s feet and hands. “Lets, see you guys get out of this one.” The man chuckled.
Moriah stopped, behind the man. She saw the boys, in earthly shackles. “Hey.” she tapped the man’s shoulder. The man turned around to find her there. “Hi!” she punched the man in the face. The man flew back and skidded on the ground. When the man finally stopped, he looked to Moriah.
“So, I see you got away. Well, that means, I just have to tie you tighter.” Moriah pulled her fist to her chest like she was ready to box this person. As the men, walked up to her, he smirked evilly. Moriah let her defenses down, to him, without realizing.
The man stood right in front of her. When she looked up to his face, he punched her straight in the stomach. Moriah grabbed her stomach and started falling to the ground face first. Kakashi’s eyes grew huge from the out of line attack on her. Moriah was on the ground coughing up blood. The man walked in circles above her. “So you think you can sneak up on me, don’t cha?” the man mocked. Moriah coughed again, blood ran down her cheek.
She rose up, and looked at the man. He looked at her. This time, her eyes glowed to a blinding green, glow. She screamed in pain. She pulled her hands together, and made the leaf ninja hand sign. Yellow charka followed around her, like when the kisue demon trying to get out of Naruto. Two blue birds came out of nowhere, and flew around Moriah. The birds them self’s were as big as median sized dog. The man looked at her, and smirked.
“Two birds, my sweet, can you do better then that?” he asked. The other four men jumped into the fight.
“Hey, come on that’s, not fair!” Naruto shouted. Kakashi grew worried, he never seen her act like this before.
Moriah smiled, “Of course I can do better.” She said. But way was her voice didn’t sound like her, it soundly like a bird it’s self. She slowly moved her hands to another hand sign, and closed her eyes. “Birds of a feather!” she shouted. The two blue birds, swarmed her, and slowly combined with one another. The bird grew to be the size of a person, and was still growing. But when the bird got to the size of the house it screeched in pain. It started spiting in half, blood rushed out of the wound, as something was coming out of it.
A bigger bird, a flaming red bird with yellow tipped wings, came from the giant blue bird. This red bird covered the sky, making it dark, around the battle field. The bandits grew in fear and ran expect the leader. The leaf ninjas had fear in their eyes.
Moriah opened her eyes; they were blinding green, same as the giant red bird. The bird looked to the bandit, and opened it colossal beck, as Moriah opened hers, as well. She and the bird spoke at once, like they had the same mind. “Let them go, or you really will see my wrath.” Both of them spoke. The bandit, moved his hand and released them, then looked back at the bird. “Now get out of my sight or, else I’ll have something to eat, other then worms.” The bird, and her spoke again. The man ran, like his life deepened on it. Moriah and the bird were still standing there. Naruto ran up to Moriah’s body. Kakashi ran half way, but didn’t know what to do. Neji used his Byakugan, to find out what was going on. When he looked, he saw, no Moriah expect in the heart.
“Kakashi, Naruto! The bird is controlling her!” he shouted. Naruto and Kakashi looked back at him. Sasuke looked at Moriah, with shock. ‘It’s like Naruto, red charka.’ He thought Kakashi looked up to the bird.
“The Guardian of the Mountains.” He spoke out loud. All of them looked at him. Kakashi looked at Naruto, who seam to keep moving head at Moriah. “Naruto get away from her!” Sasuke shouted. But it was too late. The bird saw him and landed right in front of him. It shrieked to Kakashi’s size.
“So, you’re the famous little brother Naruto?” the bird and Moriah said. Naruto backed up, but then stepped forward.
“Yes, Yes I am.” Naruto claimed. The bird moved its head to eye level with him, and looked him in the eye.
“That’s why she won’t let me, hurt you.” The bird sighed. “She wants me, to ask you something.” Naruto looked at Moriah’s body, and then looked back at the bird.
“What is it that she wants to ask?” Naruto asked. The bird spared its right wing.
“You know the two feathers that Moriah has at all times, right?” Naruto nodded.
“The feathers in her hair.” The bird nodded back.
“Those feathers are from me. She pulled them out of my wing. But she wants you to summon me as well, but there is a chech, to this. If you summon me, I have to take over Moriah’s body, in order to come to your aid. Each time you do that, the weaker she gets.” The bird warned. Naruto nodded to the warning, to show he understood. “So pick what ever feather you want. But pick wisely, that would be the only feather you’ll ever have.”
Naruto looked over the bird’s wing, in search of the perfect feather. He found one, and plucked it out of its wing. “Now, bite you thumb and print your blood on my wing. So that I have your print as well.” Naruto did as the bird ordered, and wiped his blood on the red feathers. As he did the feather he wiped on, turned yellow, with his named on it. The bird closed its eyes, and started to fade away. When the bird was completely gone, Naruto and Kakashi ran up to Moriah.
“Moriah?” Naruto spoke softly. Moriah’s body clasped and begin to fall to the ground but Kakashi caught her. Her body was burning hot, and she was passed out.
“We, have to take her, to get medical help.” Kakashi, said out loud. The boys nodded. Kakashi picked her up, in his arms, and carried her to the camp site.
The girls came running up to him, wondering what happened. “Kakashi, sensei what was that?!” Sakura asked. “There was a giant red bird that took up the whole sky.” Kakashi sat Moriah down in his tent.
“Sakura, Hinata, and Syama, I need you ladies to find a medical ninja or doctor, now. Moriah is hurt badly.” The girls nodded.
“Right!” the girls said at once, and then took off, on a head.
“Sasuke, Neji, go fetch water.”
“Got it.” Neji said, Sasuke nodded his head. Naruto lended over Kakashi. Kakashi hovered over Moriah.
“Naruto!” Naruto got ready for orders.
“What?!” he asked, eagerly.
“I need you to stay with her. I have to gather herbs, for her. That should bring her temp down some, until the doctor comes.”
“Hai!” Naruto shouted. Kakashi looked at him, and patted at his shoulder.
“If the doctor comes before I do, come find me, kay?” Naruto nodded at him, and Kakashi darted off.
Naruto sat beside his so called big sis. He curled up with his legs to his chest, and prayed that she would be okay…
Chapter 8
What!? What Do You Mean She’s-
The doctor came, and everyone was kicked out of the tent. Everyone sat by the camp fire, and waited, slightly. No one spoke, everyone’s heads were down. When the doctor came out, everyone stood up, to hear what the doctor had to say.
“You guy’s are lucky, that the baby girl wasn’t hurt, and neither was she.” The doctor said rubbing his hands on a white cloth. Every one sighed, expect Naruto and Sasuke. It took Sasuke a second to figure it out, but Naruto on the other hand didn’t. ‘Baby?’ the word kept repeating in his one thought head. ‘Baby?’ Naruto grabbed his head.
“YOU MEAN SHES PREGANT!?!” he shouted, every one looked at him. The doctor nodded, and sighed. “HOW CAN SHE BE PREGANT?!” Naruto looked at Kakashi, and pointed his finger at him. “YOU PERFVERT!” Kakashi shrugged. “WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL US THAT SHE WAS PREGANT?!” Kakashi sighed.
“When the time was right, but apparently, time had a different plan.” Kakashi answered.
“Well, that’s just great!” Naruto shouted. Kakashi and him started bickering at one another. Hinata, Syama, and Sakura asked the doc if they could see her. The doctor nodded, and the girls went in, to find Moriah lying on her back, with banged around her stomach.
“My, lady? How are you feeling now?” Syama asked softly. Sakura sat by her sensei, and Hinata hovered over her, with her hands to her chest. Moriah opened her eyes and looked at them.
“I’m, sorry, I ruined the mission. Didn’t I?” she asked. Neji walked in the small tent. One of the girls walked out.
“Our mission is not over.” Neji reassured. “But Syama is team leader. It’s her diction if she wasn’t to send you home, or keep, u with us.” Neji informed. Neji looked at Syama, waiting for her answer. Syama looked to the ground. “Everyone out, I need to talk to Moriah alone.” She mumbled. Everyone left the 5 person tent.
“Syama this is your call. Do you want to send me back to the village, or want me to come with you?” Moriah asked. She knew her time of hiding was up, the moment the girls found out.
Syama looked at Moriah. “My, lady. I would gladly appreciate if you went back to the village. Then I know you’re safe from harm. “Syama spoke softly. “I don’t want the child getting hurt.” She said miserably, she was never use to being leader, epically this. Moriah nodded her head, agreement. And she knew that she wasn’t going to hear the end of this.
“I understand. I agree with you. I would do the same.” Moriah spoke out loud. “You might want to go out side and tell the rest of our group.” Syama nodded, and left. Moriah sat up. Someone had to take her home, and it couldn’t be Kakashi, he was the guide. Knowing Sakura she would never leave Sasuke’s side. Naruto fought for this Mission, same as Neji. Hinata was kinda pushed into it.
Syama walked into the middle of the group. “Moriah is going home.” She ordered. Everyone was shocked, that one of the guides was going home. “But someone needs to take her home.” Everyone looked at one another. Naruto spoke up.
“I’ll go. I’ll take her” he shouted, to protect his big sis. Sasuke stood up.
“No I’ll take her.” he argued with Naruto. He didn’t want to lose to this idiot. Naruto glared at Sasuke. Sasuke glared back.
Two of them started bickering at each other. Syama closed her eyes, and took the fighting as long as she could, then burst into a frizzy of yelling at them. “Would you make up your minds? We have a mission here!” Both of the boys looked at her, with bug eyes. Hinata pulled her hands close to her. ‘Naruto only wants to protect her, but why does Sasuke want to go?’ Hinata thought.
“Naruto-kun, should go, with her…I mean, he just wants to protect her. Kakashi-sensei would take her. But he is needed.” Hinata said softly, luckily the group heard her.
“Hinata is right I’m need for this mission.” Kakashi informed.
“But who wants to go home?” Moriah asked as she was walking out of the tent. Everyone looked at her, like she was a ghost. Kakashi ran to her, and made her lean on him. “Moriah you shouldn’t be walking on your own.” Kakashi cried out. Moriah looked at him. She doesn’t like being treated like she was weak.
“Kakashi, I’m fine.” Moriah spoke, like she was out of breath. Naruto ran to her, and rapped her other arm around his shoulder.
“I want to take you home, sissy.” Naruto said softly. Moriah looked at him and smiled.
“Alright, then lets go in the morning.” She answered. He nodded, and every one went to the tents and got some sleep.
Naruto and Moriah left, before any one woke up. Moriah limping over Naruto, she looked at horizon. “Hey, Moriah?” Naruto spoke quietly. Moriah looked at him. “When does the guardian of the mountains come out?” he asked. Moriah looked at him as they walked.
“Well, the ledgens told me, that he picked out a host body to control. And when that body has strong emotions over something, like a person that she or he is close to the bird slips out. But it doesn’t come out when the person is in danger, only when the person’s hope dies. Then the bird can take full control.” Moriah formed. “Why did it come out?” Naruto stopped and looked at her. ‘She doesn’t know, does she?’ Naruto thought.
“No I was just wondering.” Naruto sighed.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE’S PREAGENT?!” Tsunade yelled at Naruto. Moriah stood beside him.
“Well, she is.” He didn’t feel like explaining it. He looked at Moriah like a child in trouble. Moriah stood in front of him.
“Please don’t yell at him. It’s not his fault, it’s my. So please don’t yell at him.” she asked motherly. Her mother instances were kicking in. Tsunade cupped her chin with her hands. She had an evil glare that she wanted to yell out her frustrations.
“Very well. Naruto you have to stay in the village, until I give you a new mission, since you abanded this one.” Naruto nodded his head. “But you Moriah you’re not aloud to go on a mission, until you give birth, now both of you are dismissed.” Moriah and Naruto left the room.
“My, lady, did you think that was a little harsh for Moriah, after all that was her first mission?” Shizue asked. Tsunade glared at her. “Sorry my, lady.” She apologized. Tsunade sighed.
“I’m, not mad at her. It’s just the fact that I sent a pregnant women into danger.” She looked out the window. “Just think, what would happen, if she got killed. What would people think of me?” Shizue looked at her with Ton-Ton in her arms.
“Well…” she looked to the ground. She could think of any thing to say to that.
Moriah and Naruto walked out of the building, with Naruto jumping around, Moriah just swaying back and forth. “I mean…They would think I’m heartless or something other.” She sighed.
“Well, I guess your right my, lady.” Shizue agreed with her. “But she prombly need full attention, after all she might be quite, but she I bull headed like Naruto.”
“That’s what I’m afraid of.” Tsunade looked out the window. “Once I give Naruto, a C-ranking mission, she’ll go with him, with or without my permission.” Tsunade said.
“Then we have to keep, any eye on her?” Shizue asked. Tsunade nodded.
“That’s right.”
