As the world hazed over slowly,
I gritted my teeth against the beat,
Raising my arm and watching it leak,
Red giving voice that i can't produce.
My mouth is tethered shut,
And no sound issues from the void,
I watch with an indifferent smile,
As my problems flow away from me.
One thick droplet after another.
Each painful drop like an explosion,
Each echoing my will to leave,
Showing what i've always hidden.
My eyes are vivid in their crimson,
Watching each trickle reverantly,
The world around me swims violently,
And i curse softly under my breath.
There you are again,
Just like you are in my dreams,
Grim lips pressed together,
But you've found your answer.
My only regret now,
As i lay alone in my sins,
Is that i couldn't be your reason,
I was never worth the time.
So sleep soundly tonight beautiful,
You're an angel when you sleep,
Silently peaceful and amazing,
Just like you were before the dreams.....
