black
is what i see
darkness
is what i feel
broken
is my heart
torn
my soul shall be
felling bottomless
void beneath my feet
alone in the dark black place
till i die i shall remain a shell.
till i die i will not feel the warmth, the bright light,
nor the wholeness of my heart and soul.
till i die i shall not be in the place i desire most
the place of my dreams
the place where angels fly and sing a chorus of belonging
where i shall be granted wings of black
where i smile
and smile with nothing but wholeness
