It is just hard to stand by while you eye me down, It is just hard to sit still when you move close, It is just hard to stop when you keep going, It is just hard to say no when your lips say yes, And all the while I stay depressed, For your hers not mine it is just hard to see, all the things you don't mean. As I Stand I stand alone I stand cold I stand by myself I don't want no one else I stand here I stand now I stand for all that makes me proud I stand for friends I stand for family But most of all I stand for me. I will not take, all the things you say. All the things you use to knock me down. So I cannot stand on my own. So I say; I stand I stand on this land I stand on my own I stand for my home I stand for which I have I stand for what I've missed But most of all, I stand for my wish.
