Ignoring every
t e m p t a t i o n...
Have I ever told you guys that I really don't like America that much? I mean, sure it has its upsides, but the general mindset of America. Anyway, a list of things I dislike about America:
1. Rap music is considering "good" music by most teenagers
2. America is the country with the highest percentage of obese and overweight people and is has the second highest, from what I can find, percentage of people with eating disorders.
3. Not only did we, as a country, elect George Bush the first time...WE ELECTED HIM A SECOND TIME!
4. Some of the crap movies. Napoleon Dynamite, considered a popular movie? Whyyyyyy?
5. What the hell. Were we. Doing. In. Iraq?
6. American Idol. T'was on, and I for some reason watching it. A chick goes and auditions, WEARING A ******** BIKINI. She, of course, gets passed by the two men. I want to sock that chick in the face.
7. Too much of America is anti-gay marriage. (Why did you vote yes on prop 8, California?)
8. It is easier to break into a building than get through airport security.
And, because there are good things, a list of good things in America.
1. We elected Obama as president. Yay!
2. We have freedom of speech, slavery is illegal, and we get a bunch of other liberties than a lot of countries don't get.
3. We have Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. (Okay, so this doesn't REALLY count...)
4. We have some really kick-a** writers and actors and movies.
5. I just wanted to use this number to say that there is more cool stuff that I can't think of right now.
And thar be the end of my lists. So, was there a point to this? Hell no.
