When there's no-one to listen
I give up, the conversational skills of the world are depleted, and its just not worth having litterery or social skills, manners or knowledge. Why do we even bother... stare

As for Twilight the movie, I'm not very good expressing my opinion of movies and novels, so the following is by my sister, we saw the movie on Friday (4 days ago)

And she's off....

Being an avid fan of the novel series, it was difficult to accept the movie at face value. I could pick up the numerous faults and slight infractures without much thought. Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), while incredibly sexy, had only two facial expressions: about to cry and 'OMG WTF'. This can also be said for Jasper (Jackson Rathbone), who wonders around with a stunned 'deer in headlights' expression. Emmet (Kellan Lutz) looked as if he had ADHD and wasn't the intelligent, physical and arrogant jock he is in the novel. I'm sorry, but rocking back and forth in excitment isn't anticipation, it's hysteria.
Jacob was well acted, but could someone please talk to make-up about the hair?!? It doesn't even look real!
During the second viewing I was able to appreciate the movie for it's value. Carlise is drool-worthy and the kitchen scene added a giggle for all, whether you've read the novels or not. Alice exuberated the delicate grace with predatory ease that was depicted throughout the novel. Admittedly, this isn't a good reason to like a movie. So the soundtrack was fabulous, the setting was well done and adjasent to the novel and the minor characters were well portrayed, especially Jessica, who without an insight to some of the more manipulative behaviour in the novel, created perfect tensions towards her character.
Regardless of how good an actress Bella (Kristen Stewart) may be, she is standing in the way of every female (and some male) fantasies. This makes her job difficult. At times her acting was unbelievable, she seemed lost for words and much to whimpy to be the Bella we all hate to love.
The 'bad' vampires are fabulous and I look forward to seeing Victoria (Rachelle Lefèvre) in the next movie. James was convincingly coniving and Laurent, while not being a 'vegiterian', recieved empathy and was lovable in a sort of 'I'm going to eat you' way.
Overall, any movie that has a collection of hot guys is OK by me.

Please let me know what you think.
