Pray to your favorite deity, the apocalypse is nigh! That’s right, folks, this morning, some time between the hours of five and six A.M., it began to snow in southern Louisiana. And it continued to snow until some time near three o’clock in the afternoon! Now, a snowstorm may not seem strange to some of you, dear readers, but to me, and all the inhabitants of the city of Covington, it was a wondrous thing indeed. Cold as ********, but wondrous! Unfortunately, some point between the hours of eight and nine A.M., the power went out in the school, as well as most of the city! From then on until eleven-ish it was general confusion. I got checked out of course, but then again, half the student body was checked out before the power went off. Instead of going home, went to my mother’s boyfriend’s place, ‘cause he had a propane heater. When I got home and tried to use the Internet, ACCESS DENIED! This is a bad thing, I have several RPs(Role Plays) that require my input, as well as a sad teen-aged girl I’m trying to help through tough times. I suppose I should have anticipated this though, considering how my cable and phones were taken away; it was only a miracle of ignorance that I still retained Internet. Now, it could just be that cable’s out for the entire area, but I won’t hold my breath. By the time this makes it to join my other entries on GaiaOnline, I might have another Internet provider entirely. Let’s just hope that’s soon! The time is 7:52 P.M. on December 11th, 2008.
So Long, Suckers! P.S.: Internet’s back!
