CHAPTER ONE
4 years passed as we looked upon an old cemetery, a woman, brown hair and had light curls, she wore dark make-up, a black gown on veil, she over looked the grave, she would sigh quietly and turned around, walking to exit as she came upon a man older than she.
It was about late 1900s, San Lee Southern California. The man had given her a scare, shivers went down her spine and you could see the goosebumps among her pale-white skin, "You smell like blueberries," the man told her, she cross her arms across her chest. "Well, you smell like an orangutan, why are you following me?" she asked rather curious, he stepped back with a frown. "I'm surprised you've been keeping eye on me, Mallory Pike." With this, Mallory turned back another direction, she eyed him again. "Why don't you come back into business?" he asked, taking a few steps closer to Mallory, she growl and nearly snapped. "I have special reasons." Mallory grumbled a jerk under her breath and took of, walking in a quick pace.
"Is it him for the reason you quit?" he asked, she tap her bottom lip with her right pointer finger. "Your name is Darl Cunnighman." Mallory said, her left hand on her hips, he smiled with amuse ad interest. "So you haven't really changed, you're still reading people." "What is it you want from me?" "For you to return to the business." "Not happening," Mallory argued, walking on as she left Darl standing in thought, he watched her leave with a laugh.
"You will come back into business." was all he said as the wind started to pick up lightly, old fallen tree leaves ruffled together as the wind carried them, it was about early fall in September.
A raccoon was sitting on the lid of the trash can, trying to pry it off the can, however failed to do so.
