It's raining outside, a storm I think. I can not help but this this is not a good sign for the night. I can hear the Shakura screaming in the next room as she forces our child out. Its been months since we first heard the news and now...
I remember when she first tiold me, I was in so much shock that I couldn't think but I was excited. I couldn't wait. For me, having a son or daughter would be fantastic. And now the night has come and I'm fear for my love as all I can hear are screams of pain and can not hear the infant at all.
The storm outside seems to only get worse and worse. The rain has flooded the lower houses and those in the camps a bit aways. If the rain continues I know we will soon be flooded as well.
I do have to wonder what we will do when the little one is born. I will just have to wait...
and watch the rain.
