People stare with burning eyes
not realizing what they despise.
They close the door on uniqueness,
squinting their eyes with morbid bleakness.
Tears fall down just like rain,
but no one really knows this pain.
It fills the veins like acidic blood
and simply makes the mind like mud.
Pain slits through the skin so deep.
blood runs cold from lack of sleep.
People stare but know one knows
a young girls heart that faintly goes.
As the stars in the sky fade from bright to dark
the world of night weaves its vicious mark.
They all watch but remain unaware
to the hostile creatures that linger there.
Empty skies darken with desolation
and no one sees a confrontation.
It remains in the shadows here;
the place that no one dare be near
