Dschingis Khan and "Moskau"
Dschingis Khan ("Moskau! Moskau!" wink was formed in 1979 to perform their other smash hit song of the same name, "Dschingis Khan", in that year's Eurovision Song Contest. They had a hit with that song and Moskau before they made other albums without commercial success. They broke up in 1985.
They reformed again in 1987 to compete in that year's Eurovision Contest, but they didn't make the cut and broke up again. The group's lead singer, Louis Hendrik Potgeiter, died of complications from AIDS in 1996. sad
The Numa Numa Guy
The guy in the video singing the song and dancing around is Gary Brolsma, who was only 19 years old when he first unleashed the video of his singing and dancing to "Dragonstae Din Tei" by O-Zone on December 12, 2004.
Once the fame from acting a fool on the Internet caught up with him, he was humiliated and embarrased by the fame he received. He canceled an apparance on NBC's Today Show and turned down an interview with the New York Times, both of which were supposed to happen February of this year.
