I want you here with me, But you can't. Work has got you all wrapped up, Instead of my arms around you.
I wait patiently to see your smile again, To kiss your lips again. And as I wait for you, I get my lips ready to kiss yours.
I want to see you more & more, But, we can't...your job gets in the way. And I become sadden again, Waiting impatiently to kiss your lips again.
Your frumpy hair, I love, Your hazel eyes, is a plus. You tell me sweet things no other boy has told me, You make me blush, and tell me I'm beautiful.
You enjoy making me blush, "Of course! It makes you more beautiful than you are!" you say. You make me blush even more, "Oh my god! It's happening again!" you joke.
I love the way you laugh, I love the way you make me smile. But, it's all too bitter-sweet, For you have to leave again.
It almost brings me to tears, When you have to leave. Because after a hell of a mak-out session, I want you even more.
Your job gets in the way of our relationship, But I know you need it to pay off for the gas of your truck. But, I want more time together, Because I miss you, even more.
Your sweet lips against mine, Your strong arms around my waist. I want to feel it again, But, I must wait.
So, to you, my true love, This poem I write to you. This is my cry to you, I WANT YOU TO BE HERE WITH ME!
