Uhg... How could they do such a thing? All they have to do is get some DNA samples, mix it in with the right ingrediants, add some dragondust(for magical perposses) and they can have a polymorph potion. It's much more humane than actually killing the creatures!! And the accessories could be made from naturally molted feathers. Claws do fall off, as well. I know this because I own eight cats and I'll find thier claws stuck in the sides of couches or on the carpet. And of course, clipping is more humane than killing and cutting. However, this is if they are to be a "pet" and that is highly unrecomended.

They're poachers Rika, they have no hearts, and all they know is antidotes and about the creatures they poach. They work in black markets, which is what worries me even more... You talk about potions, potions for white magic, but the other side of that spectrum would call for more... bloody parts, wouldn't it? If this market has just 'popped' up... there has to be a number of buyers....

After thinking about it, I've decided that this is an issue that concerns more than just the creatures' safety. This could effect the unknowing/unbelievers as well as us.


But as for clipping, I don't like the idea of that at all... It puts the creature in a very vunlrable position.

Exactly, another reason why I would not recomend it and why it would be best for "pets" that don't see much action at all.
