Oh by the way, forgot to mention that May 5th was Sentaro's birthday, feel so bad for forgetting my own characters' birthdays. Happy Birthday, Sentaro-san! xD
Chapter 12
Sentaro explained to his friends how Nero came to be. When Elena heard what happened with the spell, her heart was filled with sadness.
Nero: *POOF, changes back into his human form* Hey oniichan, do you think Kitty and Bella will stop chasing me when I'm in this form?
Sentaro: *treating his wounds* Doubt it, you're adorable either way.
Nero: Aw man!
Ryo: So kid, what's your relationship with him?
Nero: He adopted me as his brother.
Ryo: Oh, so you two aren't really true brothers.
Nero: ... N-NO WAY!!! THEN WHAT ARE WE?! *cries* TToTT
Sentaro: Don't listen to him, kid. *hits Ryo on the back of the head*
Ryo: OW! Okay, I take it back.
Nero: *sniff* Good.
Ryo: Anyway, how are you doing? That monster left you a bad scar on your chest.
Sentaro: Except for the throbbing pain, I'm fine.
Nero: Are you sure you don't need help, oniichan?
Sentaro: *pets Nero's head* Don't worry. With medicine and a bit of time, a wound'll heal. Why don't you go and play outside? I'll be out in a minute.
Nero: Okay.... *runs off*
Sentaro: Hey Ryo, can you keep an eye on him for me?
Ryo: *groans a little* Fine. But if he does something stupid like jump off the ship, don't blame me. *leaves*
Sentaro: Yea whatever. *sees Elena by the door* Elena...
Elena: Hey.... how are you feeling?
Sentaro: I'm doing good. Good thing I packed some medicines before we left. My father's a doctor, so he always has a bunch of medicines and potions.
Elena: I see.... *falls on her knees crying* I'm so sorry! T-T
Sentaro: Huh?
Elena: I heard what happened with you and the spell. I forgot that those spells could be dangerous. You almost got killed because of me. I should've never gave you that book, I'm sorry.
Sentaro: *kneels, puts his hand on her shoulder* Don't be. It's not your fault. I should've planned it out a little better to avoid all this. So please don't cry, don't feel guilty. Smile, laugh, be happy. At least something good came out of the accident. If it weren't for all that, we wouldn't have gained a new friend.
Elena: R-Really?
Sentaro: *dries her tears* Don't worry, I don't die that easily. *gets up* C'mon, the others are waiting for us. *leaves*
Elena: *sniff* Sentaro-kun...
Meanwhile, Kitty and Ryo were at the crow's nest, taking turns looking through the telescope, while Bella was busy chasing Nero.
Nero: WAH! Help me, oniichan! *running*
Bella: C'mon Nero-chan, lemme fix your hair. *chasing him*
Nero: NO!
Ryo: Hey, keep it down! We're trying to look for land.
Kitty: *looking through the telescope* Ooooooh!
Ryo: Find anything?
Kitty: Nope.
Ryo: *sighs* Man, I miss land.
Kitty: Uh oh, looks like Nero-chan's been caught. xD
Nero: Nooo! Lemme go!
Bella: Not until I fix your hair, you little cutey. *huggles him* x3
Ryo: I feel sorry for the little guy. *snatches telescope from Kitty's hand* Gimme that.
Kitty: Hey!
Ryo: *looks through telescope* C'mon land, where are you?
Kitty: Bored now. XP
Ryo: *gasps* Land ho!
Kitty: *turns and looks at Ryo* What'd you say?! o.o
Ryo: No, no. I see land. Look! *gives her telescope*
Kitty: *looks through telescope* I see it too.
Sentaro: *comes out of the room, sees Kitty and Ryo* What's up?
Kitty: *jumps down from crow's nest, lands safely* We found land, we found land! *jumps up and down with excitement*
Ryo: *climbing down the ladder* Hey man, do you know where are we headed?
Sentaro: Let's see... *takes out map* We headed to the port and sailed east. If we continued sailing east and remaineding in the Northern hemisphere, we should be landing at America.
Ryo: Cool, the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Sentaro: *shrugs* Eh, I heard it ain't that great.
Kitty: Do you think Chita-neechan maight be there?
Sentaro: Don't know. America's huge compared to Japan.
Elena: *at the helm* Okay guys, we're almost there. So hang on.
After a few minutes, they finally landed on a port in the state of California. Kitty and her friends were saying their farewells to Elena.
Kitty: Aw, are you sure you can't come with us? You make a good ally.
Elena: Wish I could, but I got other things to do.
Kitty: Well okay, hope to see you again soon. *gets off the ship*
Bella: *holding on to Nero* It was nice meeting you, Elena.
Nero: Lemme go! *struggles free, runs past Elena* Bye miss!
Bella: Come back here, little cutey! *chases him*
Nero: NOOO!!!! Oniichan!!!!
Elena: *giggles* ^^
Ryo: Goodbye oh beautiful goddess. *runs off*
Elena: Uh...... bye. ^^;
Sentaro: Hey Elena, thanks for taking us this far. We couldn't have done it without you.
Elena: It was nothing..... Hey Sentaro-kun, do you think we'll ever see each other again?
Sentaro: I think so.
Elena: *nods* Me too..... Um, Sentaro-kun?
Sentaro: Yes?
Elena: *places her hand on his face then kisses him on the cheek*
Sentaro: *blushes a little* Uh..... thanks....... Well see ya. *runs off*
As Elena sailed off, Kitty and her friends left the port and went off to the next area.
Elena: Adios, mi principe valiente. (Translation: Farewell, my valiant prince)
Man's voice: What's this? An Immortal falling in love with a human? Heh, never thought I'd see the day.
Elena: Huh? *turns around and sees a familiar face* Luthor!
Luthor: Yo! Its been a while, Elena.
Elena: It sure has, but what are you doing here?
Luthor: I got some important things I have to tell you.
Elena: Really? Well, tell me everything.
