Let's say, you have a Gyrojet round of 40mm caliber, a multimode (proximity/impact/impact delay) fuze, you know, and put it into a cartridge with a low-impulse ejection charge. Have some sort of tamper between the powder in the cartridge and the back end of the shell, so the motor doesn't get damaged. Aaaaand you link the thing up so that the weapon cycles rapidly. Would that give you a heavy bolter?
