Just to sum up why I’m asking this… if you know me very well you know how strongly I am offended by most human beings and why I dislike most of our attitudes and values in our selves and material things. I thought long and hard all week of a question to ask some people if they ever asked me why I hate humans so much and this is what I came up with:
Lets pretend a human (lets call him Bob) wanted the iPhone since the day it came out into stores but, Bob could never get it because it was so expensive. However, one day Bob is watching the news and all of a sudden Bob hears, “In local news the iPhone sales have dropped, no one seems to want an iPhone and the company is selling them for a ridiculously low price, only $5.00! However, they are only at such a low price for one day!” And magically Bob just happens to have a 8 dollars on him and that is all he has left until his next pay day. So, Bob gets in his car and drives down to the AT&T store. Just as he is approaching the store he sees a poor homeless man sitting right infront of the AT&T store holding up a sign that says, ”Lost home, job, and family. Please help. God Bless You.” This man looks hungry, tired, cold, and scared, he is wearing ragged clothing and has a shopping cart full of his old clothing and such. Now what do YOU, yes you, think Bob should do?
a) Go buy the iPhone he has wanted for so long and give the homeless man the spare change, but keep in mind material possessions never made one man happy and objects like that only stay good for so long. b) Say to himself, “He could use this more than I could…” and Bob gives him his last $8.00, walking away feeling accomplished, he now knows he just fed that man/clothed him/or anything else he needed. Which this feeling last longer than any material passion. c) Say, ”Screw that!" go buy the iPhone and go home. Ignoring the homeless man. d) Turn around and go home.
What would you do? What should Bob do? Please, if you are reading this comment on my profile or here would mean the world to me.
Certain answers will demonstrate why I dislike our race ever so.
Thank you.
Ps. Think of this next time you see a homeless person and help them. Thank you.
