The Ramblings of a Lonely Lanka Witch Baby.
30th July, 2007. 10:01 pm. Nothing in particular. Just entry #1 really.
I keep watching tv shows and movies I really hate, which worries me!! I just sat through Little House and I want to strangle every character on that show. Yet, I watched an hour of that crap. Well, none of that was remotely important. Right now, I'm listening to 80s songs on VH1 Classic and I love this song! Oh, I should probably say that the song is the original version of "It's My Life" by Talk, Talk. I heart this damn song!! The video has the singer standing in a zoo and his mouth is covered by this black flashing squiggle line. I yike it a yacht. Next I get to lsten to "Hot, Hot, Hot" by The Cure. That song is amazing... one of the early ones before Robert went and got all "goth" on everyone... but I do like the 80s "goth" look. Ooh, "Push the Little Daisies" by Ween is on here too, but that's a 90s song. I think I wanna hear that now. I like "Birdhouse In Your Soul" by They Might Be Giants! They supposedly wrote The Oblongs theme, but I'm not sure. I need to find out if they did. I was watching The Oblongs last night and it was this episode where Milo meets one of the "Debbie" girls but her name is Evelyn. She invites him over and they play doctor... leading to her removing Milo's brain, and him giggling! In the end, she turns out to have been an alien, and she was just doing some experiment on Milo. They Might Be Giants did write the Malcolm in the Middle theme song for sure though... I like me that one too!
Let's see... I shall now mention Weetzie Bat for the simple reason that it is now my favorite book. She reminds me of my friend Megan. She is cute, and imaginitive, and adorable... and blonde like her. Her boyfriend Kendall is a bit like My Secret Agent Lover Man as well. I think I'm morelike Witch Baby. I don't mean looks though. Personality and the way she see the world. I read the first edition of Weetzie Bat from 89, which is the year my older sister Liz was born. I was born in 91,which is when Witch Baby came out, so I find that to be pretty darn cool!
