Bio: At a young age, Arthes was trained to be a paladin, a bringer of light, by his fathers greatest paladin, Lugar The Lightbringer. In his training, he was assigned a mission that changed his life forever. His kingdom was was suffering from a plague, and he and Lugar were assigned to find the cause. Apparently, the Undead, or rather, Lich king, was creating this plague, and transporting it using grain. An entire city was soon infected. there was two options, leave them and let them become mindless Undead, or kill them before they changed. Arthes chose the second. Lugar was against it, but he was discharged by Arthes. During Arthes' massacre, he discovered that the Lich king had a demon controling the entire plague, named Malganis. after he finished his killing, he took his now meager forces to the northern most area of the planet, where Malganis and the Lich king reside. Arthes finds that his powers as a paladin were not enough to defeat someone as powerful as Malganis. He learned of a rune blade called "Frostmourne" which could possibly give him the power to beat malganis. Once Arthes found Frostmourne, and defeated its guardian, he took it as his own. only after that did he know that it was cursed. it ate his soul, and destroyed it. in order to gain more power, he killed all of his men, and then malganis. as it turns out, the Lich king was dying, and had forged Frostmourne for the soul purpose that Arthes would become the new Lich king. Arthes, now a servant of the Lich king, went to the highest point of the northern area, now known as teh Frozen Throne. There he found the frozen prison of the Lich king. he broke the prison open, and puts on the accursed helmet of the Lich king. with his consciousness fused with the lich kings soul, he has become force to be recond with. currently, he travels the world, in search of new souls to devour, and undead minions to create.
