They're hearts were born broken But they never shed a tear
Forced to kiss they're ghosts behind And leave friends and family, far and near
Bounded to their chairs by their own disabilities. Laughed at because they couldn't stand, laughed at because they couldn't breathe. Tears in their hearts would fall. They would never know...
Even though they couldn't cry, They're hearts were broken long ago.
The monsters laughed, because the freedom of they're stupidity made it cool They could never know how poor Jerry ended up in the pool
Face down, and would never raise their heads Would never hold someone's hand because they couldn't move.
It's a state of mind, that intimidates the monsters that crawl It's apart of another kind of hurt, that science could never prove.
But they live. But they cry. But they get happy. And they die.
Just like anyone else in the world.
Sometimes, even on the inside. We're all living. They move, all the time. They cry, all the time. They laugh, all the time.
It's just that no one bothered to turn around and look.
