"G-game over?" King stuttered, his lips quivered and looked at Mist until the last pixel flew up into the air. He fell on his knees and banged on the ground. "No! He was the one who was supposed to enjoy this! Where'd you put him professor? What happens if it's game over?"
Professor Sheep grinned and shook his head.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see. Would you like to risk it?" Professor asked. Lightning surrounded the background, it boomed over everyone's head. Everything was quiet from the stillness, it was only King and Sheep who could actually move.
King looked around, everyone was still frozen except for him and the professor, MP could be seen running after Migration. Averiyx could be seen running in the way of MP. Imyself was in the air, jumping into the huge crowd, waiting to get her grip on the key.
"No...I'll keep playing." King said with utter depression in his voice, his friend, the one who's been waiting for this for a very long time, was the first one out, who knows what's happened to him by now. Was he dead? Was he freed from the damn helmet?
After saying that, a small whirring sound could be heard as everything in the background started running again, MP shot at Migration, who still had 45% of his life left. Averiyx popped up from behind MP and brought her down. Link soon tackled his way through the untangled mess of the crowd, everyone was punching, lives were draining, he ran, dirt and blood smeared across his arm and face, clutching the key on his chest.
"Oh no you don't!" Shadow sprinted toward Link, it seems that the key had a type of effect on you when you're holding it. It makes your speed decrease, no matter how light the key is. Which is pretty unrealistic, considering it's about 5 inches long and 2 inches wide. Hell, they're in a game, most of the stuff here are unrealistic. Shadow jumped two feet away from Link, he horizontally turned his body so he can reach as far as he could, all he could reach was Link's collar, but it was enough to bring him down, Shadow dragged Link down once he started falling.
"K-ack! King!" Link gagged as he threw the key as accurately to King as possible. It was either the key was very heavy, or Link was just weak, because it only reached about 3 feet away. Shadow quickly stood up, he eyed King as King did the same. They both dove toward the key. Both pairs of hands reached it, but only one could win.
"You're not going to win! Especially after killing Mist! This key is ours and you know it!"
"Oh quit crying you baby! Oh my gosh, my fwend disappeawed! Mommy hewlp me, pwease!" Shadow laughed as he mocked King.
"I don't think so, loser." Imyself grinned as she pulled it away from both guys. She smiled at King as Link held Shadow down.
"What're you waiting for? Hurry up!" Link yelled. He was not about to lose the key after all that hard work.
"Oh right!" Imyself quickly glanced at the key and huge door planted on the ground. She sprinted toward it, only to be pushed down by Serene. She catched the key in mid-air once Imyself let go of it. King got up again, but Migration rammed him forward.
"Looooooooossseeeerrrr..." Serene yelled while laughing at the helpless group. She finally reached toward the door, but she thought it was a funny time to tease the group. She acted like she was clueless and didn't know where the door was. She rested her index finger to her chin and pouted. "Where is the door?"
"Haha! How do you like that, punk?" Migration laughed as he grabbed King's head and slammed it down...hard. A life bar appeared above King and very tiny amount was taken out, he now had 98% of his life. Migration sat on King's back and took out his gun. "Sorry, man, but a game's a game." He said and aimed it at King's head. "Say hello to that little friend of your-agh!" Migration fell back as Link got the back of his shirt and pulled it over his face, Migration struggled to get a clear vision and fix his shirt.
"C'mon, King!" Link said as he helped him up. Pink soon came out of nowhere and smacked Link on the back, Link's eyes shut as he fell down, not moving. A lifebar appeared above him and a fair amount was taken off. Pink had knocked Link out.
"Gosh, you guys are so weak!" Pink said and ran toward Imyself, who was about to stand up. She held her down. "Hmph...seems like your friends are down." Pink flew forward as MP landed on her.
"Not me!" MP said and shot at Serene. Serene flew back and landed on her butt. She tried standing up but was brought down by MP. MP snatched the key away from her and shot her again. Serene now has 60% of her life left. "What happened? What about that one word you always called us? Was that loser? Well, look who's the loser now?" MP said and opened the door with the key. Then...the unexpected happened.
A huge three-headed dog appeared out of the stairs, snarling and growling and barking. It scared all of them, they all managed to run for cover, Shadow's team on a very old building near the cemetery. And King's team in a fort type building across from Shadow's building.
The dog snarled and looked through the window, their heads were too big to fit in there, so the group was safe. They took a deep breath and fell down.
"What in the world was that?" Pink asked, catching her breath.
"Well it seems like a three-headed dog! Cerberus!" Serene said, she was the one who was shocked out of her group, the dog was right above her.
King was able to carry Link toward the fort, especially with the huge dog prowling the cemetery, it was good that the cemetery was big enough so they can find a hideout quick while the dog chased after the other group.
But that was nothing compared to MP's horror. She was breathing deeply and holding her head. Her friends were calming her down with phrases like "it's alright" and "take a deep breath".
"Link, wake up dammit!" MP screamed and smacked him across the face, hard enough to wake him up but soft enough to not take a life away. Link's eyes soon blinked open, he rubbed his head and asked the usual question.
"What happened?" Link asked.
Imyself gave him the information he needed to know and soon, Link's thinking face was spread across his face.
"There's a way to stop the dog, there's weak spot, we need to see what it is though." Link said as he reloaded his gun.
MP reloaded her gun and scoffed.
"Well we're about to find out."
