Listen, listen....
Beware. Once you cross the line will you ever see the other side?
I Spent A Date With Mr. Tiolet
For Thanksgiving (yes, I'm such a lousy American~) me and my mom drove up to Albuquerque. (I think that's how it's spelled.) We went to spend Thanksgiving with her "friend" Boyd who lives up there. After listening to John Denver for most of the trip we checked into a hotel, I walked Flo my dog just to go to the bathroom and then put her in the room. Then me and my mom hunted for an Olive Garden (took about twenty minutes, directions were sort of sketchy) and ate there. I loved that food, though I think that the Olive Garden that's near where I live is better.

After that we stayed at the hotel, woke up, ended up leaving our left over food from Olive Garden (my mom said it was best, though I don't believe her! Dx) and checked out. Had some breakfast at Cracker Barrel with Boyd, went to house for ten minutes, then drove over to his daughter and her husband's house which was on the other side of the city or something. We stayed there for a couple of hours and had dinner. I played some pirate board game with the daughter's son, which reminded me exactly why I really hate little children. (Never gonna have them. Never. Ever. :3) Then we left, hit the road, met some rain on our way back. My mom was prepared to stop, and I have to admit that I whined about it a little. xD; I just wanted to get home, even though I knew that driving on a free way in the rain wasn't safe. One of the times I let my impatience get a hold of me. D: Anyway, my mom pulled over to get a hotel. But the only hotel in the town that would accept dogs was a hundred dollars per night. And y'know what hotel it was? It was Best Western! ><; I mean, wtf? I'm not actually sure if they were the only hotel that accepted pets, but I have a feeling that that was why it was so expensive. Anyway: my mom took it as a sign from God (or at least she was HOPING) that because the hotel was so expensive that she should keep on going. By then the rain had dulled down to a drizzle-ish thing, and it rained a whee bit harder on our way back for the first ten minutes but then it died down. So the rest of our ride was rain free, thankfully. And so we got home and we were teh happiness.

Then on Friday I spent most of my day doing boring crap in the house (can't even remember what it was xD) and then went out for my annual DDR night at the arcade in the mall. See, every Friday I go play Dance Dance Revolution, a dancing video game, at the arcade in the mall. It's me and like five other people, sometimes only two depending on who comes, and we pretty much just play together. I spend most of my time with Alonso, the youngest dude of our mini loser awesome group. He's about fourteen. He's like an inch taller than I am but weighs 107 lbs, eight less pounds than I. xD But he managed to reach 120 lbs this week because of Thanksgiving. Anyway, this Friday it was really only me, Alonso, and my cousin Julian. Julian is my cousin, who's about Alonso's age, who I talk to a lot on the phone. He lives in Arizona, but a few months ago we've started talking to each other a lot and now whenever he happens to pop up over here in New Mexico he comes over. So this Friday he went over with me, and Alonso, me, and Julian spent most of our time wandering around our tiny mall (literally takes five minutes to walk to the end and beginning of the mall and back xD). It was one of the best Friday nights ever. xD It was just awesome. Alonso bought some roasted with sugary stuff walnuts. The three of us severely abused the opportunity by making nut jokes (I'm shockingly perverted when I want to be) for the rest of the night. Alonso gave Julian more nuts than he gave me! </3 That's not fair. ;_; Ahhh, if only you could've heard the jokes. ),:

We went to Village Inn (it's tradition that we after the mall closes at nine) and I copied Alonso and got the Eggs Benedict. I didn't realize that it had ham, but I ate it anyway (usually I can't eat ham, but sometimes I can if it's really really good. Not in this case.) Well, some if it. I'd already eaten some pizza before I'd gone so I didn't eat much. Then Julian and I went home. At twelve I started puking~ =DDD (It wasn't the ham, but the ham certainly did help in making my stomach feel worse.) (Flu: That's what the journal entry title is for.) An hour later when Julian went to bed I continued throwing-up. At six my mom came into my room and found me (she thought that it was my dog Flo whining, but it was actually me >< wink and abducted me into her room while going: "Aye, Gelsey! Why didn't you come get me...?" I threw up until about eight. I finally fell asleep, slept until around eleven, and just spent most of the day being miserable in bed while dipping in and out of sleep. In the middle of the night I woke up to the sound of my ma puking. Ahhh, the joy. I woke up this morning and she'd gotten sick too. She called in to tell the church that we couldn't go in this morning (she's a church Elder and I run the power point during the second service, so we're both expected to be there). But apparently they didn't get the message because Fuzen called and was all lyke: "whyr r u?" and I waz lyk: "mah m4 c4ll3d in yo" and Fuzen was all lyk: "w3ll n0b0d1 t0ld us, yo" But there wasn't much I could do. xD; But for some reason, even though my mom didn't have the strength, she had the strength to go shopping. (???????) I went with her because... well, she's weaker than I am, and she was sick, and even though I still felt like crap I could still move and I knew that I would needed somehow. So we went to Best Buy and the mall. I followed her all the while going in my head: "I should be at church I should be at church If I can walk around in the mall I can go to church I should go to church." I was rather POed at my mom at the moment, because in church you're required to sit, not walk around like you do in shopping. But it was for gifts, and she just wanted to get it over with, though I still wish that I had gone to church. D: Well, I drove us home because my mom was feeling too sick to drive. My neck was killing me at that moment (feels like there's a dog biting and hanging off of the back of my neck right now) but we got home. My mom laid down and I fixed us up some Chicken and Egg Noodle soup by Wolf Gang Puk (Puck? xD) which is like... THE greatest chicken soup ever. I gave my mom less than I quarter of a bowl, seeing how she's sick, and I had the rest. She was barely able to finish hers. I finished mine, had another can, and I still want more soup. D: I'm going to go have more once I finish typing this up.

So I feel crap loads better now that I've had something to eat finally. I'm already starting to get my usual cravings for chocolate. But no chocolate for me- at least not until tonight or tomorrow. xD

And, as fate would have it, just as I started this journal entry I heard my cousin Jack (he lives with us) making odd noises. I looked in his room and the JOY! He was having a seizure. =D So I just went to my mom's room and told her, she came and just said that all we could do was watch him to be sure that he didn't stop breathing and be sure he didn't hurt himself. So I just sat down and chilled his room watching him. I'm unusually calm about these things. D: I mean... there's just no point in freaking out. I can freak out AFTER. Which I didn't do, but anyway.... So I'm just sitting there watching him to be sure that he keeps on breathing and doesn't hit anything (he's not one of those people who flail while they're having their seizure, thankfully) and my dog is sitting next to me... looking at me for attention. Y'know, there are some of those dogs that can just sense when something is wrong and are ready to protect. My dog is not one of them. xD; She never touches my food (I can leave the plate on the floor with her in the room, be gone for as long as I want and come back in without being worried that she took something from my plate) and is just the sweetest dog ever. But she's not one of the those ultra smart dogs. ^^; So she's just sitting there asking for attention while someone is having a seizure just about ten feet away from her. Ahhh, genius.

My cousin is fine now. He didn't get enough sleep and accidentally missed taking his medicine so that's why he had a seizure. He and his ma are prone to have them. So they have to take some medicine every twelve hours or else they would be having a seizure everyday. Awesome, isn't it? D:

So he's fine now. I'm feeling pretty good- considering. My entire body is still aching from all of that puking (I wished that I'd counted how many times I'd puked. My record is twelve pukes in one night and I'm pretty damn sure that I broke it on Friday.) Plus my head hurts a bit. My stomach hurts just a liiiittle, but not enough to stop me from eating/feeling hungry. I should be fine tomorrow. I just wish that I'd had some breakfast this morning before church so that I could've gone. D: I think that I'll do my own unofficial breaking of the bread thingie at home. At a Christian church y'do the breaking of the bread and tasting of the wine (grape juice as is the case in the states) about once a month, and we have ours at the end of the month, so I know for a fact that I missed it.

Well, enough for this journal entry. Happy Thursday for people who don't celebrate Thanksgiving, and happy Thanksgiving to all you lousy Americans like me.

And remember: Don't catch the flu. : D

Puking sucks...I rarely have to do it, luckily sweatdrop

Hopefully you didn't DDR on a full belly, cuz that could make you worse...and remember to ask if stuff has ham if you're not sure if it might wink

I don't get sick very often, and when I do get sick it's not as bad for me as it was for the person before me. I don't even eat that well. My immune system = Win.

My record for vomiting is four times in three hours. I passed out after that.

    Stop getting sick.

    I said I was sorry. We honestly weren't told~ =(

I've only had the flu like three times in sixteen years. Like Rosie said, my immune system = Win!
