"If there's no one beside you, when your soul embarks..."
Saturday was the concert.
It was:
Some Band
Shiny Toy Guns
Yellowcard
Blue October
In that order.
It was AMAZING! The thing was at House of Blues, where the sound quality sucks and the ceiling is painted with designs that make you high.
Yellowcard was pretty good, but most of the music was past me, I had the worst spot. Laura [I have no clue what her username is this week] went too. First we stood behind the Mosh Pit, then we sat on the stairs, and then we went back behind the pit. Finally we stood there and watched, well, whatever we could see around the column in the middle of the pit.
The violinist was the most energetic guy I have ever seen. He was practically dancing all over the stage while dancing. It was sweet.
Well, I could only see the violinist from my spot, and I'm sure Laura could only see one of the guitarists, probably Bass, but I'm totally unsure.
Blue October was great, but the lead singer was fat and his makeup was so dark we thought he was wearing sun glasses. xD My sister's friend kept saying that he was Pregnant. I almost don't doubt it.
But, their music was great, and that's what matters.
They played my three favorite songs:
-Into The Ocean
-Calling You [Totally wasn't expecting that]
-Hate Me [Everyone's favorite]
It was great.
But, by the time we got back to my house I was about dead.
Miko wasn't meant to stay up that late. xD
Well, we got back and we were singing ancient songs on my Dad's old karaoke machine. We got my dad to sing, but not into a microphone. And he'd only sing if everyone else was singing, and no one was looking at him.
Gawd, he's so SHY!
But, I knew about... one song. Amore, I think it's called.
I'm sure everyone knows it. I think they played it in Lady and the Tramp, but I have no clue.
Today I stole 4 blank cds from my Sister, and while she was in the shower I stole all of the songs off her laptop. xD Wooh! Yay theft!
Besides, she said I could.
Then we went to Dong-As [An oriental market in FL's China Town] twenty thousand hours away from my house, and we stoked up on Pocky, Aloha Soda and the like. I'll be fat [well as fat as near-anorexic me can get] and happy for quite a while!
So, now I'm sitting here trying to find names and lyrics to all of these songs, because for some reason when I burned the cd the artist/name didn't take. Fun, fun, fun.
