I woke up to a very uncomfortable...what was it? It felt like...stone. I was on top of it. Wait a minute, who am I? I sat up.
The room was dimly lit by some torches. They were all around the room, two on each wall. Everything was stone; the four sidings were a light tan. In the middle of the room, the floor rose up into a box-like object. I was sitting on this. In front of me, there was a wide, also stone, staircase, leading up into a lighter area.
I slid my feet off to the side. Then, I pushed myself forward, getting up. It took a few moments for me to adjust to my new position; I felt like I had never stood up before. My legs were like jelly, but I thankfully remained standing.
Slowly, I walked towards the stairs; once there, I walked a little faster as I went up them. My eyes winced as the sun flooded into them.
