Don't insult my intuition.
I know you're just trying to look out for me
but if I ever thought you were going to hurt me,
I would not be pursuing this.
You have a stronger will power than you realize.
But I have a feeling, that is only part of the reason.
I bet deep down, you're the one afraid to get hurt.
We've both been hurt (in two completely different ways) in the past.
We've both had a chance to grow, mature, and move on.
The reason I have pushed you away in the past, was because of my intuition.
You had feelings towards someone else,
and somewhere inside me,
I just knew it.
No one can truly know what the future holds,
they can only have an idea.
You're not the only one in this situation,
I'm part of it also.
