So one of my posts had been deleted due to it being spam. It was not an emoticon nor a "Bump" but was a small sentence. Since when does gaia enforce unstated rules? If it is not clearly listed in the TOS then in my opinion it is an obvious "Interpetation" and to enforce an "Interpetation" in my opinion is the mark of a site that needs to get their Mods/ducks in a row. How can a Mod make and enforce one interpetation and a different Mod enforce a completely different interpetation? I understand we aren't exactly customers however if Gaia acts disorganized and seemingly uncaring to their users what does that say about Gaia? It makes defending the Mods and Admins seem hardly worth the time and why would I ever give you more money? If I am not "worthy" of consideration as a human being, if I am only thought of as "Just another user" then maybe those people who compared Gaia to Neopets have a bit of truth to their argument.
Since when has there been a minimum sentence requirement?
or is it because I posted in a misplaced thread? If I posted an essay would it still have been spam? Granted my post was stupid and in poor taste but it was still a sentence. Not a bump and not a single emoticon. If Gaia is enforcing an unstated minimum sentence requirement it needs to be added to the TOS, otherwise how can you really enforce it? I know Gaia can run its own site into the ground as it wished but then you would get a bad reputation and wouldn't you prefer to attract users instead of pushing them and their money away? or does Gaia no longer need our donations now that "Sponsors" have appeared on a white horse and shiny metal armor.
Update - I just had a Mod Pm me that I should not take out my frustrations out on the Gaia staff as I reported one single spam in my own damn thread. Is this Irony or am I just having a bad day?
Note to Ian Fanclub members, If I get banned for disagreeing with a Mod please take care of the thread for me?
Another Edit - I know this will sound odd after this rant but Mods are human. NoFlutter and Seth Darkheart, Who I did not like at all at first but now I know better are my two favorite mods. I'm Biased, I know. whee
Yet another edit - I'm adding TriskDaemon in my favorite Mods even though he/she told me I was banned as a joke. xp
(Hope this isn't spam)
