The Problem with Everburning

" We shall begin our story at the non-existent castle, of Castle Oblivion. One day a fair maiden and a graceful-"
" Graceful?"
"-Rude knight was walking in a beautiful feild of flowers. And-"
" Someone PLEASE shut him up!"
-transmission interrupted-
A large fire burned in the corner of the library. Axel smirked as the library was filled with the crackling noise of burning wood. He breathed deeply in, taking in a large amount of smoke into his lungs.
He coughed out the toxic gas smiling and said, " Better Vexen?"
The old man nodded his head as he and Zexion went back to quietly scheming something as they pooled over a large, ancient text book. Though it was hardly called scheming if Vexen was the only one talking and Zexion only nodded his head at a few things.
Then Axel suddenly heard a girl scream behind him, followed by a wail to his right where the fire was.
" Hm....the first scream is either Marluxia, OR it's Larxene. And I'm willing to bet that thier-"
" -Going to kill you!!!" Larxene screamed.
Axel ran off into the multiple book shelfs that made the now-smokey-library a maze. He immediatly got lost and didn't hear Larxene behind him anymore. For the moment of course.
" Hm...If I keep going left, then maybe I'll find a way out of here." Axel concluded. He tried this for a while, but it didn't seem to be getting him any where. " Strange, it's almost like I'm going in circles." He muttered to himself.
All of a sudden the bookcase to his right collasped and he could faintly make out a figure in the smoke.
" Hey mister mister! Where's the exit?!" He called out to the person.
" Mister?! "
Yep it was Larxene.
" RUNNNN!!"
" Get back here or I'll-"
Her voice was lost as he turned a few corners and stumbled into a dead end.
" Heh...whoops." He said nervously. When and if Larxene found him, he was dead. No worse than dead, she'd gut out his insides and put them on a shish-ka-bob stick and roast them and his carcass over the raging fires of Hell. Actually, that's only if she was in a good-angry mood. It'd be different if she was in a bad-angry mood. He wondered if this was the bad or the good.
" Well lets see. " He said to himself, leaning against a bookcase. " I set fire to Demyx's doll house, that's good. But I set it off in the library. That's very bad." Everyone in the Organization knew she loved the library, it was where she could get away and find peace. Any other place and she was like a ticking time-bomb just waiting to go off. Axel always liked to call it her Happy Place.
" Maybe if I die now she won't kill me. " He wondered to himself.
He started to sit down but just as his bottom hit the ground there was something funny about it.
" Are floors supposed to be soft and squishy?"
" No, now get off of me you dope!"
Axel quickly jumped to his feet and looked down at the person he'd sat on. When he recognized the figure, he asked, " What are you doing here Xigbar?"
" I got bored, so I went to the library. Then I got even more bored. So I wanted to leave but-"
" Did flying monkey's attack you?"
" No, I - Wha?"
Axel repeated his sentence more slowly, " Did. Flying. Monkey's. Attack-"
" I heard you the first time dude, but how'd flying monkey's enter this conversation?"
" They do that sometimes."
Xigbar gave him a weird look for a long time. " Dude, you O-k?"
" I think so....but lately I've had this aching pain in my-"
" I meant mentally."
" Oh, well in that case. Yes. I am fine." Axel answered with a cheeky smile. " You just don't hang around me that much."
" Or it's the fumes."
" Yeah, I've noticed that too. "
" Hey Axel?"
" What?"
" What was it you set fire too?"
" Demyx's doll house. Why? And how did you guess it was me?"
Xigbar whistled. " That explains it." He said, ignoring Axel's questions.
" Explains what? The reason why Larxene started her monthly early? Yea, I figured that too-"
" No, I mean it explains your behaviour...well, maybe. And it also expolains why I can't teleport to get out of this mess."
" Now when did that happen? You can't just NOT teleport." Axel said bewildred. " Wait. You broke something didn't you?"
" No, I did not break something. " Xigbar answered irritated. " Do you even know what Demyx's doll house was made out of?"
" Um......"
" Just say no."
" No. But I can give you a guess-"
" -It's made of a highly athentic dark material. Forged from the Dark Abyss and constructed with ancient runes of power. " Then he added. " And decorated with white oak shutters and little red wood people. "
"....Meaning?"
Xigbar sighed. " A few things, but simply we can't telelport anywhere in the library or out of it, and more than likely the wood is Everburning. " Axel gave him a quizzical look. " It means the doll house is going to be burning for a very, very, VERY, long time."
" Oh good. Hopefully the flying monkeys won't get us then." Axel whispered happiely as he started off down the aisles of book shelfs.
" And apparently it decreases Axel's IQ to Zero point O. " Xigbar said glumly, hopeing it was the fumes. Axel seemed to be acting a little too natural.
