Why in the world would somebody want to turn on someone...in an internet forum? I mean, come on. That's probably the stupidest way to hurt somebody, even if it is pretty effective.
I saw a thread in Q&A sometime this week that involved a chick whose ex decided to hack all her Gaia accounts just to get back at her for something. Yes, I said the plural form. ACCOUNTS. Apparently, he knew all her e-mail addresses and somehow successfully answered the secret questions in order to hack all the accounts she had. It got so bad that she had to make another mule account and ask the mods to protect her account in a Q&A thread...and protect they did. They disabled trading on her newly-made account so her ex couldn't hack her and put all her items on his account. Man...that's sad.
Another thing like this happened in another forum (which I actually mod at). Apparently, somebody left, and another person caused drama because we all made fun of the pope's death and actually made a Pope death pool. He threatened to quit, and quit he did. When I woke up this morning (not long after this happened) these two people spammed the forum with mule accounts. Stupid, stupid, stupid. They're both banned now.
I just don't get it at all...
