I am sick and tired of chat speak. We can all spell, at least moderately, I know that! What do you think Language Arts is for? People send me comments and messages that I can't even read or make sense of! I don't care if you're being lazy, or you think it's cool [to which it is NOT], take out a dictionary or something and spell out your words! And for those people that have Spell Check, USE IT. 'Cause I think that's the best thing ever. I don't mind the occasional 'WTF' or 'OMG', but when it starts getting repetitive or your whole sentence is made up of chat speak, I snap. For instance:
'lol' = NOT A CONVERSATION NOR A SENTENCE.
'i dont kno' = Just no. There's a Shift button and a Caps Lock for a reason. D=
'its mi bday' = Shows how you can't spell a simple word as 'my'.
'wats the hw 4 2day?' = That's kinda sad. I don't even like using numbers.
'wat do u thik of ms wterz' = .____.
