i don't think they were really saying mcr was emo. it's just that's its a commonly known stereotype, and a lot of people who're like that DO like mcr. and besides, if they put bullet for my valentine or from first to last or something, half the people wouldn't know who they are.

MCR stated in an interview that they weren't emo.
But, you have to laugh at those stereotypes.
I mean, nearly half of the population thinks MCR is emo.
So I guess that's the best band to put on the shirt.
If they put like, The Used or From First To last, people would be like 'Huh?'

It's not insulting, not that much.
Just laugh it off and ignore them.
We know that MCR aren't emo, and that's all that matters.
We can't change people's opinions, so lets not rant and rave about it.
As Gerard said, "Awk, c'mon! This emo s**t has got too far."
It sure has.
But, I'm choosing to ignore it now.
