Today I handed 18 CVs out into different shops in Liverpool.

Now I've just printed out another 72 to hand out around Birkenhead.

8 are media ones for music shops and games shops.

I need a job

If I don't get a job after printing all this and this much hassle I will go sick.

I didn't get past the group interview but some emo kid who turned up in an MCR top, skinny jeans and converse who didn't say anything in the group interview got through to the one on one interview.

I was pissed off though. I was smart.
Red short sleeve blouse.
Black calf length pencil skirt.
Black patent mary jane heels.
Only my monroe and tiny nose stud in.
Tidy hair.
Mascara, liquid cats eyeliner.

She wore:
Baggy MCR shirt
Skinny jeans
High converse over the jeans
Back combed birdsnest hair
Snake bites
Awful make up.
Thick badly done eyeliner.
Black eye shadow.
Her foundation was too pale and made her white.


I knew more about the store than her, had a better introduction than her, had a better description of myself.

I said when we had to describe ourself as an object/colour/animal:
'A rock because they are strong, don't collapse under pressure, can be the foundations of buildings so they are helpful and can be used for many things.'

She said mumbled:
'The colour pink because it's cute.

She never answered any questions on Primark, I had my hand up for all of them and got them all right. I was the only one out of 15 who knew what 'ETI' stood for and what it involved.

So yeah I was pissed.

You know how you get round the guy with long hair thing?

Claim sexual discrimination, unless all members of the female staff have to have short hair too, and make mention you'll happily go public about it, as its not your reputation or job on the line over this... it puts the shits up any employer who tries that crap.

I've never cut my hair for a job interview, I tie it back, neat and tidy, a little gel to hold it in place and a nice crisp suit.
