Author's Note: This idea came to me a long time ago after I finished watching Black Cat, an anime show, just last year. Thought it would be an awesome idea. So I created one called "A Rogue's Tale." Unfortunately, due to the lack of active members, I had to shut it down.

Then just recently, I joined a similar RP. It had a cool storyline and I thought it would last long, but unfortuntely, there were lack of active members, so it died.

I thought maybe I can combine these two cool ideas into one. EDIT: Ok make that three ideas. I'm combining the work of two of my almost successful RP and one "almost have great potential" RP from the one I joined. I'll post it up later.

I know, it'll be a lot of work for me, but I know I can pull this off somehow, and I know it's going to be intense and fun.

~*Intro*~

It is a year 2007; our story takes place in a large city called Metropolis, the largest city in the world, and it is still growing. Well of course, because WE are the one making it grow, using our imaginations as the greatest tool of all.

Many races of all kinds resides here: demons, elves, dwarves, vampires, lycans, humans, cyborgs you name it.

Anything can happen here. And I mean anything. While peaceful citizens mind their own business, criminals make their own business by disrupting peace and order in the city. Although authorities are doing their jobs almost everyday, they can't do it themselves. Which is why there is an organization known as the Bounty Hunter Organization of Metropolis (B.O.M).

B.O.M is an international organization that hunts down criminals and help citizens as much as they can with their problems It is their job to hunt criminals and send them to jail. Even though hunters in the organization are well known for their "obnoxious" behavior, they're quite successful.

However, they're not the only organization that hunts down criminals. Rumors has it that there's a secret organization sworn to hunt and kill any criminal there is, whether they're small time criminals or cold-blooded killers. Hunters don't know whether they're really an organization or not, but they call these people "Chrono Assassins."

~*Story*~

Thousands of years ago, there was a great war between the creatures of the light and the darkness, the battle between the good and the evil, which determined the fates of all life as we know it. It seemed that the war is endless, that the people will only live in fear, hatred, greed, deaths, and many more. It seemed that way, until the Angels of Terra had enough.

They sent one of their most powerful angel to try and stop the war. Her name is Celebrian Seregon. She then, with all her power, defeated the powerful entity that led the creatures of the dark into the killing spree. No one, not even herself, know who it is or what it is, but the creatures called it "The Lord of Darkness." Using what left of her powers, she sealed the evil entity inside a black box called "Celebrian's Box," and died doing so, but it is said that her spirit will live on. The Grand Priests created a temple to seal the box under the sea, so no one could ever try and open it.

Thousands of years later, an archaeologist stumbled upon a temple underneath the ocean. It's a discovery of a lifetime! She then found Celebrian's box and accidently opened it up, which released the evil entity, the grand leader of all evil, to the world. The entity took possession of the archaeologist's body and now it is planning to recruit every evil and dark creatures it could find and wreak havoc to the world once again.

In secret, the "Lord of Darkness" has created an organization of her own. No one knows it's name (and it will be known later in the RP), but it's soul purpose right now is to recruit all creatures of darkness to join his cause, fight against the creatures of the light, and take over the world. It is the biggest mission yet and almost impossible to accomplish, but it almost happened a thousand years ago. Will she, or it, be successful this time?

These are the Ranks for Bounty Hunter missions. It will determine how hard the missions are. You can work in a team, a partner, or go solo. There will be a recommendation at the bottom of the mission, but you don't have to follow it.

Oh by the way, if you guys have an idea for a great mission. PM me your ideas. I'm also gonna need your help in creating these missions for Hunters. This will also give you a chance to be in my White List wink .

Rank E - Common work for the citizens. May be small, but the citizens will pay you. Usually bounty hunters call Rank E missions, "Community Service."

Rank D - Involves hunting down small time criminals, like petty thieves.

Rank C- Involves investigating matters like "Missing Person Case (MPC)" or help investigators uncover mysterious matters. Escorting VIP is also part of this mission. Possibly hunting down mid-level criminals.

Rank B - Involves escorting a VVIP(very very important person) through a dangerous area. Also involves solving a life-threatening mysteries. Hunting down big-time criminals.

Rank A - A mission created by the General Advisor (representative of the President of the West Country). This involves saving the country, or the world.

arrow Mission: Protect the Prime Minister!

An escort mission from Elohandre City, Avalonia to the city of Metropolis for Prime Minister, Gregory Bates. He will be attending an important meeting of the President regarding the new treaty. However, he believes that a group of rebels will try to stop him from getting any closer to the city.

This requires a team of two or three hunters. If mission has failed, the takers of the mission must face severe punishment in the Supreme Court of Avalonia.

There has been a disturbance in the Temple of Jupiter. Gargoyles are taking refuge within the temple and citizens are being attacked when getting closer to the Temple. No one was severly injured, but the gargoyles are spreading into other surrounding buildings as well. They must be exterminated.

A man in a red Toyota XL convertible ran over a young girl near Salazar Time Square at 2:00 p.m this afternoon. Witnesses reported that the man is a cat demon that was drinking illegal alcohol. He was last seen at Westbound Dock near the Little Mermaid Bay. He might be trading illegal alcohol to gang members. Must be captured unharmed for questioning. Be cautious, he might be carrying a gun.

Payment: $450 (if harmed or killed, payment decreases to $230)
Status: Failed; a body of the cat demon and the gang members were found dead in an abandoned warehouse of Westbound Dock. Metropolitan Investigation officials are investigating this matter. Those who took on the mission please report to the nearest local police station tomorrow morning.

Here's a little something about each of the sides:

Bounty Hunters: They're basically characters that will help out the city as much as they can. They protect the city and the people living in it. Some of the hunters don't believe in killing criminals.

Chrono Assassins: No one really knows their true name of their secret organization (and I will give you the name of it if you guys are the Assassins), but they're belief is well known through out the world of hunters. They believe that the world is filthy and must be cleansed in the name of justice. In other words, they will kill every single criminal out there that will endanger or corrupt the minds of the innocent.

They're shady characters and not a lot of people met them in person.

Members of the Dark Hands: They're all about evil. They represent evil. They cause disturbance all around the city and will do anything to let the world crumble under their feet. Their only follow the one and only master: Lord of Darkness. She has many names and only members will know her name.

Power: Lao was made primarily on his abnormal ability to utilize his body's full potential. When the Human brain can use 50% of it's power, Lao uses 90%. When the normal civilian can only tap into 25% of his muscle usage, he was made to utalize 100%. He's basically "The Perfect Soldier".
Weakness: At first glance, Lao seems to be impossible to defeat, but the scar across his chest was never really healed and can be used to bring him down like a sack of potatoes. Good luck hitting that area though, because he knows how obvious it is.
Skills: Kane was programed to be an All-Around Martial Artist, although some of the techniques he uses are a little rough around the edges. Along(sp? sweatdrop ) with being a great fighter, he can figure out how to use any weapon or source of technology, just by touching it for a moment. And last but not least, No matter how high of a fall he does, he will always land on his feet, although he may just leave a crator where he lands.

Personality: Lao's personality was made to copy that of a regular human's. Out of battle, he is a kind, carefree, and a very sarcasticly funny guy. But in battle, he is cold, calculating, and will stop at nothing to complete his mission.

Biography: Born Kane Matthews, Lao was supposedly killed in a car accident caused by a druck driver that was speeding away from the cops. Using that as his only living memory, he now helps people that are less fortunate and is known to be a Bounty Hunter the majority of his life, and a normal person (If you can get pat the scars) when off duty.

Other: Being musically inclined, Lao loves playing guitar and performing in the local parks for fun.

Weakness: Darkness attacks have a chance of overloading his mind. Since his father was a dark entity, his body often absorbs dark energy. This can be useful, but in great doses, He collapses from the strain.
Skills: Sword Mastery, Flight (Not sure if it's a skill, but is essential to my character...) Arcane Lore, Great intelligence, Spiritual strength.

Personality: He is a dark, quiet person. He is troubled by his past, and it shows. He has a strong sense of honour, and seeks to follow the path of justice.

Biography:Andrew is the son of a human woman and an Angel. His father was cast from heaven, for submitting to lust. Andrew was the result of his fathers failure. In a rage, his father killed the woman, but couldn't bring himself to kill the baby. Andy was taken in by the Chronos Assassins at a young age, and has served them most of his life.

Other: Not as fanatical as other Assassins. He simply seeks to follow the path of goodness, despite his heritage.

Jumping from shadow to shadow, when the time is right, she can engulf her opponents into her shadows and make them see their own dark, horrible past. In some cases, opponents are usually too scared to move and they will fall on their knees.
Weakness: Light; she hates to be in light for a long time(almost 2 to 3 hours)

is great at scaring anyone away with her shadows and her useing it to make someone's fear

Personality:She is dark but if you look and break passed the outer shell you could find a loving sweet girl but it would take a lot to get in there.

Biography:Midnight normally dosn't talk about her bad past.I will tell in the roleplay but just some things you should know.Midnight is part of this fouse but gets out of it because they found out that she has a bounty on here head for a B-ranked mission to get her alive and tryed but she killed almost 5 of the people.

Other:Midnight is also learning to contral fire she isn't the best at it yet but she will get better.

Power: Sion has a stage called 'Impluse Stage'. This stage allows her blood to be poison, acid or may heal in her control, in addition, she is immune to both poison or acid being thrown as an encounter from her enemy. She has a tendancy to become a berserker with intense control of reflexes and agility with the skill of picking up her enemies' fighting technique.
Weakness: She may have a strong skill: however, she cannot heal huge gashes or cuts on her body. Tranquilizers may work well as a way to take her down. Since she is incomplete she may no be able to become immune to those elements at times. And of course, she cannot block all attacks.
Skills: Advance Swordsmanship, Excellent Gun control, Mastery over any martial arts.

Personality: Sion may be the serious, cold-blooded killer at her times of mission: however, she may be a bit clever-minded as well as a little trickster and possibly be the flirty or mocking kind. In addition, she is not the kind to be easily irritated, at times. She has a problem against other girls other than the human body being controlled by her leader. She has the tendancy to never give up after many failed attempts, she will not give up to finish what she has been ordered to do.

Biography: Sion, also know as 'Z-10-n', was originally a secert military test subject. She was once only dark angel, though, now modified as a bio-weapon for wars, her proof is being the platinum tattoo marking of 'Z-10-n' with black wings marked on her right shoulder blade. She escaped during her final completions. For being an incomplete weapon, she cannot control her 'Impulse Stage' nor can she control herself during the time the stage is activated. Her eye-patch gives her more accuracy than the advance fighters both by aim and offense, when she doesn't wear the eye-patch; however, when she does wear the eye patch, her accuracy is just as good as a professional assassin. Nite, her pet, originally came to her on Earth, though then was parted as she was taken away for testing. The day she escaped, Nite reunited with her by her side.

Other: Her partner/pet, Nite, is a dark unknown entity that has been by her side for many years.

Skills: Animals trusted her and they will do anything for her. She's good with swords and daggers.

Personality: She doesn't trust anyone that isn't from the Dark Hands. Suzu is usually playful but she can be serious if she is needed.
Biography: Her mother and father gave her away to the leader of the Dark Hands. She was raised as a dark hand memeber and only trusting her people.

Other: She has a pet dragon that only obeys her only.

Power: Has a very extraordinary power of telekinesis. Claire can move any objects around as she pleases and cannot be worn down. She can also use telekinesis on herself and can move a lot faster than her normal rate. It's a bit of something she made up before, and now she uses it to her advantage. She can use it all day and won't be tired.
With telekinesis, she can also deflect or protect herself from an immense amount of energy sent towards her, like raids of bullets or a blasts of fireballs.
Weakness: The reason why her telekinetic powers is limitless is because of the power of her sword. Without her sword, her powers will be weakened and will not be able to increase her power. If she uses her telekinesis without her sword, she will have a major headache and will not be able to concentrate.
Skills: She's a highly skilled swords woman and a master of CQC. She's also a great painter.

Personality: A very determined person who's willing to kill every single criminal out there. She never shows sympathy, or any kind of feelings to anyone. She never shows mercy. Very emotionless and strong-minded.

Other: She's the commanding officer among the Chrono Assassins; she gives out orders to her fellow assassins.. She's the only person who takes orders from a mysterious old man in a dark, isolated room.The old man is the leader of the organization.

Race: Dark Entity within a body of a Human. Human girl is 36 years old.
Side: Dark Hands; The great and all-mighty leader of the organization

Power: L.o.D has complete and utter control of darkness. She can manipulate it however she wants it to be, unless there's a shadow nearby. Her powers increases depending on how much darkness there is in an area and may seem that her power is unlimited. She can materialize shadows and turn them into whatever she wants it to be.
She can even create shadow minions to do her bidding. She can also travel through the darkness with ease. It's her own way of teleporting herself into different areas.
Weakness: Her powers are limited if there is no shadow anywhere near her.
Skills: She's very skillful with her heavy-duty scythe. With the power of darkness at her side, her power of her scythe increases a tenfold.

Personality: What can I say? She's evil reincarnated. She will use every single resources she has at her side if she want to accomplish world domination. She doesn't care about anyone, even her own followers. However, she's quite persuasive and manipulative, which is why she has so many followers.

Other: She has a pet dragon that she was able to revive. His name is Draconis.

Power: He has a great gift of increasing and/or decreasing the strength and power of people and weapons. He can make the strongest man in the world into the weakest man ever lived or vice versa. Or make a blunt butter-knife slice through a wall. This can only happen through touch.
He can make himself stronger than anyone. He can pick up things twenty times his size or even a three story building. Like Superman, normal bullets or normal blades won't be able to make a scratch on him.
Weakness: Physical attacks may not do much damage, but any magical attacks will do.
Skills: He's very skilled with his hammer and a sword. He also mastered CQC.

Personality: A very typical, laid back person. He likes to relax and laze around. If something serious turns up, he would say that it's such a bother, but he does it if there's money involved.
Besides his lazy personality, he's a very determined person who wouldn't mind protecting the citizens of Metropolis and the ones he cares the most.

Other: He has a second job. Besides being a Bounty Hunter, he also works at a small Weapons Shop called "Thor's Hammer" in downtown Metropolis.

Power: As a demon, he has skills and abilities of a normal demon. He can fly, his strength is abnormal, a fast healer, and he's immortal. However, he has an ability that no other demon has. He's a necromancer, a very powerful dark wizard that has complete control over the dead.

As a necromancer, he can summon an army of undead soldiers no matter where he is. Elves, demons, warriors, mages, anything he wants as long as they're dead. He can make his army do his bidding, which is why he's Lord of Darkness' Right Hand Man.
Weakness: His magic cannot work in a magically protected, holy place. Those with intense spiritual powers can do harm. Melee weapons may be able to do some harm as well.
Skills: He's a high-level necromancer.

Personality: Very calm and emotionless, but very strong and merciless. He dedicated to his work and spends most of his times researching in his lab, creating new ways to make his undead soldiers stronger and faster.
He's also cold-hearted and manipulative, a natural personality for a necromancer. He prefers to be friends with the undead than those of the living, which is why he's anti-social.
