I have to spend 3 weeks in a hotel with no Star trek unless my dad can *somehow* figure out how to hook up the cable. The only Star Trek i'll get is what i can convince my mom to buy for me pn DVD. Which won't be much.

What I'm asking is if anyone knows some good star trek stuff I can do on the computer while i don't have any good TV. Ya know, good sites, that kind of stuff. Pretty soon I'll run out of youtube clips if I can't find something else to do.

If you have bittorrent you can download all of them... or surf the channels until you find some on cable- it's on tvland at 5am.

A way of downloading stuff. Very few viruses, way better than limewire.

    Get a set of books.
You can also download them in e-book format.

I like the idea of buying the books...u could read them anywhere...even without a computer smile

I'm going on holiday soon, but I'm taking a portable DVD player and a couple of series of TNG, plus a couple of films. I might take my laptop too.

two words: fan fiction!
fanfiction.net has some good stories if you're willing to sift through the junk, and I always find writing to be a good geekdom-reliever.

definitely.. and if you're into Voyager, i highly recommend "Pathways" by Jeri Taylor (one of the producers).
