My understanding of Thelema is limited.

The leader of the Vortex camp of the OTO has invited me to a ritual on 7/7/07. (I giggled, and she told me it wasn't intentional- and that made me giggle more).

It's a Ruby Star ritual. I was wondering if folks had any insight on the ritual and it's meaning from first hand experience.

That gives a pretty good break down of it.
As for the engery and effect that depends on the person preforming it.
There seems to be a misunderstanding. I understand the ritual's symbology and history. I was looking for individuals who would be willing to share first hand experiences (ie. someone who has done it and is willing and able to talk about it).

I'm actually a little disappointed by the website.

It glosses over a great deal of what makes the ritual so special.

A prime example is the lack of notation on the brief song to the phallis- I mean, bringing Kether to Malkuth and back again in a single letter is really neat.

So we had a lot of fun.

I was outed as not being a Thelemite.

We did some bibliomancy and this is what I pulled from The Book of The Law:

10. O prophet! thou hast ill will to learn this writing.

Everyone busted up laughing.

I just wish we had pulled from Book 4. I would have been delighted to read the Interlude.
