Although it's often associated with the Pro Ana movement (which I despise...by the way)...I'm very guilty of looking at thinspo.
Does anyone else ever use thinspo (or healthspos) as motivation?

Well, I don't go out of my way to look at it, but sometimes when I see someone pretty I think to myself, "man, I wish I could look like that!". Thinspiration isn't bad as long as you aren't using it for anorexia-related reasons. Whatever gets you safely motivated is fine! 3nodding

*guilty* I look at thinspo. I mean, I don't sit around all day looking for it.. but I have a bunch of pictures that could be considered "thinspo" on my personal computer. I really should get rid of them u_u;;
While there's nothing really wrong with being inspired to lose a little more weight, eat healthier, and exercise more by seeing / looking at women with more desirable bodies, you'll have to know where to draw the line. Once you start looking at pictures of girls who are stick thin and wishing you could look like them... you'll want to kick the habit ^^;;
While I can't associate my eating disorders (of the past) with skinnier women, because mine was more of a control / self-worth thing, I do know people who've developed eating disorders because they wanted to look like those girls. It really can just sneak up on you, so be careful! heart

I am guilty as well. Except, I don't look at models. (I really don't). Rather, I look at the clothes they are in. I want to fit into those clothes and not be all hanging out every where. Erk! I want to look as nice as they do at least without being too thin. Just a nice healthy slim-down so I can get into those super cute clothes from Non-no and PopTeen magazines. ;_; (Even tho, I will never afford them, I can just copy the basic style by going into Forever 21. LOL)
There's nothing wrong with looking at thinspo though. If it inspires you to try harder to exercise more, and eat healthier, by all means, look at it! If it's making you want to do some pretty crazy stuff like that bulemia/anorexia crap, you should probably put the thinspo away for a while.

I admit I use it. Rachel Brice is mine. She's got such an amazing body and can dance so beautifully. So looking at her or watching her video makes me get off my a**. If it works so be it.

My celebrity "thinspo" is probably Amy Lee from Evanescence...then again I admire pretty much everything about her.

Yum @ Kate Beckinsale.
Her body is virtually lumpless! (not counting the hips, butt, and boobs, of course.. but those go without saying. x3)

The thinspo for the anas is actually scary to look at I reckon.
However there are a few women I have as inspiration. Jennifer Hawkins (former Miss Universe from Australia) is one of my main ones. She's gorgeous.
I also idolise Kate Winslet. She embraces her curves. heart

@ Frog Juice: Some of it is a little scary, but a lot of it actually is just naturally thin, normal looking girls. It's not so much a strive for thinness, it's a strive for perfection, and where ever and in whoever they find what they claim is perfect, that's who they'll strive to be/look like.

Anyone here watch any old movies? Like... late 1920s-1950s movies? TCM? :3 One of my biggest sources of "thinspo" is pin ups and vintage/retro actresses. x3 Like Betty Paige, Ginger Rogers (Fred Astair's dance partner), Katherine Hepburn, Mae West, Josephine Baker, And all the various pin up personalities of the eras. :] I don't know, something about the glamour.. it's so beautiful to me.
