Now like its says right there. This is to show off only your first model and comment on what you liked and disliked. Remember only your first model can be shown of Troops and Vehicles.

Now what I dont like about it is mostly the paints I used. I didnt have much access to the GW paint line so I went with what was widely available Testors. Now I have a whole amy that looks shinnys except for the armour which came out nicely. I also dont like the camo, I wanted a random look to it but I just went abit overboard. Please note that the black is actually not shinny when you see it in person. I just had a poor camera back then

its been a long time and I cant remember what we did with it. But I beleive I took 4th place in the second guild model comp with this guy and part of a squad.

edit: I coudnt find a pic of just him so heres my whole entry. You can also see my first Tank in the back.

(If this already exists I could not find it)

My first model was executed by paint stripper, through shame. It was a Khorne Bezerker painted in fire/urban camo.
sad

After that I did Typhus.

That's in the P&M Show off thread somewhere.

I did the same thing as Mycal... My first were an army of nurgle warriors, that my OCD kept saying weren't up to its standards... Ten coats of paint before I stripped them.

My first model? The tomb prince who lead my warband. He's gone to a better place.... My "too much effort to work with now, and wont use for scrpa parts" bin

Sadly, mine too is a casualty of aging parts. It's a wraithguard or something... I think... All I'm sure is it's Eldar... or maybe Dark Angels... God damn, it's been to long to remember... It's either the Interrogator Chaplain special character for Dark Angels or a Wraithguard, both of which are long dead from constant stripping and repainting.

Mine (just recently painted) were a sergeant, rocket marine and a random guy from the Battle of Macragge set. They are in the painting thread page 36... I think...

I thought the paint came out a little sloppy and I slightly ruined them by trying to add to much detail.

Then again, I have had several people compliment me on how well they were done.

Mine was that guy with the briefcase from the Battle for Macargge(sp?) set. He's at my g/f's house with the feets broken off. >.>' I tried to give him a camo suit.

Ill probley keep this guy around and build another, because I have extra parts. But when I get home all my models are being stripped and propainted. I just can deal with the shinniness anymore.

First model was a metal dreadnought.
It's at a friend's house. We've traded it back and forth so many times.
It's also been stripped and painted twice as often.

Eaten by a little brother?
Sounds like a story one of my friends was telling me about a kid that attempted to swallow one of his chaos terminators...

My FIRST model was a devastator with his plastic bits painted with boltgun silver, because I thought leaving the exposed pewter was a sweet color scheme. (Oh, the shame...)

My first REAL model, and coincidentally, Zed Mk. I...

Not much to like - it's as if I was trying to parade amateurish mistakes. There's still flash on the pieces, I globbed on the paint, there's nothing but flat color, even the drybrushing looks like s**t. sweatdrop
