Starting Weight: 240lbs
Starting BMI: 43.9
Starting Measurements: I will add these once I get a copy of them from Curves

Highest Point
Weight: 265lbs
BMI: 48.5

Ultimate Goals
(None of these are concrete goals as I am not really sure where I need to be in order to be healthy. I will reasses all of them if needed.)
Weight: 119lbs
BMI: 21.7

You can do it!
You've made an excellent start so far by losing the first 25lbs.
Just think, that means you're 1/4 of the way to losing 100lbs!
5lbs of weighloss is like removing a small bowlingball from your body, so just think, you've shed 5 bowlingballs worth of weight so far!

Also, at 119lbs you'd probably be more like a dress size 3-5.

I didn't even really think about the fact that I've lost 25lbs. I guess I always just think about the weight that I am at right now...when really I should be thinking about the highest that I've been at.

The size 9/10 thing is my Curves goal. I think I mentioned before that they look at measurements and not weight. When you join they then ask you to pick a dress size for your goal and based upon that tell you how many inches you need to lose. I was thinking 7/8 or 5/6 but felt that was probably an unreasonable goal so I went with 9/10. To be perfectly honest, I have been overweight for so long now I have no clue what weight would fit in what size clothing...all I know is that I've been in plus sizes FOREVER! smile

Yeah, i've just recently got back into 'normal' sized clothing after being a size 18+ for YEARS.
Even when I dropped down to a 16, I had a hard time finding cute clothes.
There are sooo many more choices for a 10-12 person. It's definately a feel good size to hit, because finally I can shop in 'normal' stores and actually find stuff that looks GOOD.

I'm aiming for a size 7 overall. 3nodding

Since I am not going to be counting calories I will probably only update my journal once a week (with the week ending on Friday's).
Weekly journal entries: Exercise goals and updates
Monthly journal entries: Exercise goals and updates and weight/inches lost goals and updates.

Last week's goals (ending today):
1) Go to Curves 3x
2) Purchase a bike
GOALS MET!!!

Next week's goals:
1) Go to Curves 3x (with at least one workout at four circuits instead of three)
2) Half an hour bike ride every night

June's goals:
1) Increase workouts at Curves to 4x a week
2) Completely increase circuits to four
3) Be able to ride my bike up the hill I have to walk it up

GOALS MET!!!

This week's goals:
1) Go to Curves 3x (with at least one workout at four circuits instead of three) - Goal Met!
2) Half an hour bike ride every night - (Goal not met. Didn't really think about how much my butt was going to hurt. That and Mother Nature hates me...it's been raining a lot lately and not bike riding weather.)

Next week's goals:
1) Increase Curves days to 4x a week
2) At LEAST 10 minutes of cardio every day (including on the day's I go to Curves)

June's goals:
1) Increase workouts at Curves to 4x a week
2) Completely increase circuits to four - Goal Met!
3) Be able to ride my bike up the hill I have to walk it up


Oh, and I weighed myself early because the suspense was killing me. 7lbs in two weeks is a nice loss!!

2) AT LEAST 10 minutes of cardio every day Goal Not Met sad

Month 1 Goals:
1) Increase workouts at Curves to 4x a week Goal Met!!
2) Completely increase circuits to four Goal Met!!
3) Be able to ride my bike up the hill I have to walk it up


New goals for this week (week 4):
1) Get at least 30 minutes of cardio on non-Curves days
2) Go to Curves on scheduled days for scheduled time (M, T, Th, F-40 minutes)
3) Completely keep my calories within my range each day (weigh-in/measurement day is coming up).

Month Two Goals:
1) Increase either Curves days to 5 or circuits to 5
2) 10-15 minutes of cardio on non-Curves days (obviously this is one that I am having a hard time with)

Week 1:
1) Curves 4x a week for 4 circuits
2) Incorporate 10 minutes of cardio on 1 non-Curve day
3) Make meal plan for next month

Measurements I will have to do tomorrow as my first print-out was ruined when I got home. I will say however that the big verdict for the month is a 12lb loss and a 12-3/4 inch loss!!

Starting measurements:
Bust: 51.00
Waist: 45.50
Abdomen: 54.00
Hips: 52.75
Thighs: 54.50*
Arms: 29.50*
*(I'm pretty sure these measurements are for both thighs and both arms combined.)

Current measurements:
Bust: 49.00 (2.00 loss)
Waist: 45.50 (2.00 loss)
Abdomen: 50.00 (4.00 loss)
Hips: 51.50 (1.25 loss)
Thighs: 52.00 (2.50 loss)
Arms: 28.50 (1.00 loss)
